Justin, you released a new song on April 27 — ‘Hard 2 Face Reality’ — which is clearly an apology to your long-suffering girlfriend Selena. But if you want to make things right, just beg for her forgiveness in person!
Justin Bieber, writing and singing a new song — “Hard 2 Face Reality” — to Selena Gomez to try to get back into her good graces is lovely. That’s what you’ve attempted to do with lines like these: “Now that you’re standing in front of me, it hurts me to know that I lied, trying to protect your feelings. You’ve been in between the lines, hope your heart is still in healing.”
Justin Bieber: Stop Singing Apologies To Selena Gomez — You Should Just Talk To Her
Yes, Justin, singing a song to your lady love — who has been hurt by you multiple times as you’ve traveled the world, hooking up with other girls — is touching.
But honestly, don’t you think it would make a much bigger impression on Selena if you raced to her side, apologized in person and made a commitment to be true — one that you would keep?
An apology and a real commitment after a heart-to-heart would go far further in taking your relationship with Selena to the next level than any number of songs.
And yes, I realize that you gave her a new shout-out in a song you debuted today, April 28, “We Were Born For This.” In this just-released tune, you admit that you’ve spent so much time traveling as you’ve toured the world — “Look at all the places, places that I’ve been” — that you lost what was most important to you.
You sing: “Sacrificed what meant the most to me, the most to me, yes, I did.”
I’m sure that Selena, being the huge romantic that she is, will love your public song shout-outs. Likewise, she no doubt melted when you posted your sad Instagram pic in NYC’s Central Park on April 26 and wrote: “Was gonna wait to go to Central Park for when I proposed to my future wife but s*** sometimes things change.” Then you added, “I’ll think of something more romantic.”
The Instagram was like a tease to Selena, letting her know that you’ve had marriage on the mind.
Well, Justin, if you have had commitment and marriage on the brain, then it’s time to actually follow through and live up to what you’ve promised Selena in the past. Every time you win her back after months of flirting and fooling around with other girls, you convince her that you’ll be loyal, only to let her down a short time later.
Justin Bieber: You Should Truly Commit To Selena Gomez If You Love Her
In fact, you two had a major blowout fight after the Coachella music festival, a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. And another source told us that Selena was upset that you had not invited her on your recent trip to Japan. Instead, you took your mother, Pattie Mallette, giving Selena the excuse that you wanted some alone time with mom — hmm!
We didn’t buy that and neither did Selena. “Selena takes that as Justin wanting his freedom so that he can hook up with girls,” our source told us.
Your decision to leave Selena behind, along with her concerns that you were up to no good, prompted her latest meltdown.
“There are many reasons why Selena is having a breakdown,” an insider confided to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “But the biggest reason is because of Justin. He promised that he would move in with her and be her so-called ‘protector,’ but he has bailed on that idea. That came as a complete shock to Selena.”
Justin — no amount of apology songs can make up for your hot-and-cold behavior towards Selena. If you do truly love her and want to make amends, then you can’t just expect to win her back with a song or two.
Instead, you need to sit down with her and pour out your heart to her, but in a sincere way. And then you need to stick to the promises you make. No more promising her the sun and moon and then letting her crash back down to earth. That is cruel and unfair.
Now, come on, Justin — man up and make your moves in person and not miles away!
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Should Justin stop just singing apology songs to Selena and instead, talk to her in person? Let me know.
