LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling let loose with his most racist remarks yet — and trust us, that’s saying a lot — during a 9-minute rant that mentioned, among other things, that he doesn’t want black people at his games. Read on for reactions from Magic Johnson, Meek Mill, Keith Olbermann and more!
Donald Sterling, owner of the LA Clippers, is fast becoming one of the most hated men of the NBA. His racist, hypocritical rant which was released on April 25 had him telling his mixed-race girlfriend, V. Stiviano, that it “bothers” him that she has to “broadcast” her “[association] with black people” — all because she posted an Instagram photo of herself with Magic Johnson. Donald also made clear that he doesn’t want black people at his games — not even Magic. Unsurprisingly, the outcry has been swift and strong, and everyone from Magic Johnson to rapper Meek Mill and political commentator Keith Olbermann have spoken out against Donald. Read on to find out what celebs and fans are saying about this crazy scandal!
Donald Sterling: Magic Johnson, Meek Mill & More React To Racist Rant
“It’s a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans. He has a team full of amazing African-American basketball players that are working to bring a championship to Clippers fans,” Magic told TMZ. “The Clippers also have a strong minority fan base.”
Many public figures have also taken to Twitter to express their displeasure — and we can’t blame them for it! See below:

Donald sterling is the definition of racism …. He could b your judge…. Your doctor…..you teacher etc… I bet nothing happens 2 him!
— Meek Mill (@MeekMill) April 26, 2014
Unfortunately, rapper Meek Mill may be right. As the owner of the Clippers, not much can really be done to him by the NBA other than a fine and a public denouncement. He may never receive the actual consequences he so deserves.
Others are upset by ESPN’s lack of reporting or comment on the story, saying that their lack of comment implies an agreement with Donald’s comments — and the longer they wait, the worse the outcry will become. This applies, too, to the NBA and to the Clippers press team themselves — fans are insistent that someone officially involved in the scandal needs to release a statement, and they need to do it as soon as possible.

So Donald Sterling said it’s cool if his girlfriend sleeps with Magic Johnson, just don’t take IG pics with him? That racism is DEEP. — Rob Markman (@RobMarkman) April 26, 2014
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Will Donald receive any consequences for his rant?
