Although the Royal Tour may be winding down, the Duchess is still on top of her style game! In fact, she recently showed off two looks that totally caught our attention — but which one did you like better?
Kate Middleton made a striking appearance as she attended a reception at Parliament House on April 24 in Canberra, Australia, where she relied on one of her go-to silhouettes — a coat dress! The 32-year-old Duchess really stood out, thanks to the bold green hue — in fact, it was one of the brightest colors we can ever recall seeing on Kate!
Kate Middleton’s Green Coat:
Kate’s coat dress, from British designer Catherine Walker, appears to be a bespoke creation. The emerald-green ensemble featured a wide belt which cinched in her waist and enhanced her svelte frame. The Duchess finished off the look with her favorite pair of LK Bennett pumps and emerald earrings, which really tied the whole look together.[hl_youtube src=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgrOlkpvCn8″ link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgrOlkpvCn8″ text=”Jenny Packham On Kate Middleton’s Style”]
Kate Middleton’s Dress — Last Night In Australia:
The Duchess continued her stellar style run and pulled a frock swap, trading the green get-up for a white Lela Rose dress from the Spring 2013 collection. The peplum frock, which featured intricate lace detailing, definitely caught our attention on Kate as she stepped out for a reception at Government House, where she arrived with her hubby, Prince William, and the Governor-General Peter Cosgrove and Lady Cosgrove.
I have been so impressed with Kate’s effortless elegance. Sure, it isn’t anything new coming from the Duchess, but she really has come into her own and manages to infuse her fashion sense into each and every look.
While Kate’s white dress was definitely interesting, it wasn’t my favorite look from the Royal Tour so far — but which look did you love?
