The royal recycler managed to show off not one but two familiar looks, (and even re-wore her shoes!), while making the rounds on the Royal Tour! Did you love Kate’s repeat outfits?
Despite the fact that she’s royalty, Kate Middleton can’t resist the opportunity to recycle some of her favorite staples — and that’s exactly what she did when she stepped out in Australia on April 22 as she arrived at Ayer’s Rock airport in the Northern Territory, continuing the Royal Tour in a coffee-colored frock by London-based designer Roksanda Ilincic. While the hue was quite demure, (especially compared to the 32-year-old Duchess’ most recent looks), the draped silhouette was beyond chic — even if it did give us déjà vu!
Kate Middleton Recycles Dress At Uluru:
Kate actually rocked a version of the frock twice before. We first saw the Duchess stop out in a similar look in LA on her inaugural tour in July 2011, and then again in 2012 when she attended the Creative Industries reception at the Royal Academy of Arts.
After showing off the simple yet chic ensemble, she slipped into a pretty printed number for a visit to The National Indigenous Training Academy in Uluru. It was actually touching to see the couple pose at the same spot Prince William’s parents visited over 30 years ago.
We first saw Kate in the belted Hobbs dress, (which was priced at an affordable $55), when she stepped out for the launch of a new sports project in London on July 26, when she was accompanied by her hubby and his brother, Prince Harry.
Kate Middleton’s Wedges — See Them Here:
In Australia, Kate rocked the frock with her favorite pair of beige wedges from Dune. Her Imperia Simple Slingback Espadrille Wedges, which she also has in navy, finished off Kate’s look perfectly.
I love how practical and chic Kate is — she’s so down-to-earth! Do you agree?
