I don’t think the school had any right to tell Patrick he couldn’t ask her in the first place. I can see trying to control a dangerous situation, but to tell a student he can’t ask a girl to the prom is overstepping their authority, even If it was a school function. I think they are infringing on his personal rights and should be reprimanded for the interference.

Lulz this is hilarious since this is my school! I WAS THERE! xD It was great. Patrick is stoked that he’s getting all this attention though. He pulls stunts like this all the time. Who knew that a kid from our little York County would have became this famous! I miss Patrick but he’s living it up! He’ll be back soon. Just know HE IS LOVING THIS

This is stupid. Since when was it wrong to ask a girl to prom? How did the school Administration find out? Anybody who’s going with this unreasonable suspension is a real

I think the suspension is fair. He was told that he should not ask that question. But, he did it in public. He could have asked after the session or by handing a note to her. He chose to do that in front of the whole school. That is telling me that he was doing it on purpose to show that he had the guts to challenge the authority. The issue here is not whether the question causing any harm. The issue is actually the attitude of this student. It is not about whether Miss Davuluri was offended. It is not about whether asking a beautiful lady to a prom. It is about this kid trying to violate a rule set by an authority. If one chooses to violate a rule set by an authroity, he should face the consequence like an adult.

1. The school knew about it, and he was told not to interrupt. The boy knew there probably would be a consequence.
2. He should accept the result and deal with it. 3 days off isnt all bad.
3. sometimes rules are made to be broken, and there is, believe it or not value in that.

Yes, the school was fairly stern and now they have that image to deal with. There is nothing wrong with
the student, seems he is growing up just fine. So long as the school lets him graduate, not a given when dealing with this type of autocratic behavior….all will end just fine.

Now the kid is going to be insecure. GOOD JOB PEOPLE! I can’t stand HER NOW! She waited TO LONG! She only did it because of her “PEOPLE”! She should have done it RIGHT AWAY! They are suppose to ENCOURAGE KIDS! With all the bullying going on they should have been happy that it was a fun thing. I THINK SHE IS A JERK! GO TO HELL STUCK UP, CONCEITED B*TCH!

This school official that suspended this young man, is properly a closet freak (god knows) with nothing better to do. Their job is to educate, encourage and help our children prosper, and respect them as well. Hope that this kid becomes a state’s attorney and one day prosucute this school official on some technicality.
