Kim Novak, 81, wants the world to feel really bad for making fun of her face following the 86th Academy Awards. The actress, famous for starring in the Alfred Hitchcock film, Vertigo, admits in an open letter, that she had fat injections in her face but that she is deeply upset for being bullied by tweets and articles that joked about her appearance.

Kim presented an award with Matthew McConaughey and shortly after her face being a trending topic on Google. She says that for those who thought she didn’t know people were saying mean things about her face, don’t realize that she actually didn’t leave her house for days after the awards. “I will no longer hold myself back from speaking out against bullies. We can’t let people get away with affecting our lives,” she said in her letter. “For days, I didn’t leave the house, and it got to me like it gets kids and teenagers. I’m not going to deny that I had fat injections in my face. They seemed far less invasive than a face lift. In my opinion, a person has a right to look as good as they can, and I feel better when I look better.”
She also addressed the fact that Oscars host, Ellen DeGeneres, made fun of , 68, by saying on live TV: “Good job, sir.”
Kim’s Plastic Surgery — Experts Speak Out
HollywoodLife.com spoke to a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Brent Moelleken, who revealed what he thinks Kim had done to her face.
“Either [fat injections or silicone] can be disastrous and irreversible,” he said. “Most Hollywood ladies who ‘age gracefully’ actually do so with subtle plastic surgery that keeps them looking younger and ‘refreshed’. If they try too hard to look much younger than their age, they will have a bad result.”
