Jenny announced on ‘The View’ on April 16, that she and her ‘NKOTB’ beau are getting hitched! HollywoodLifers, are you excited for the couple?
Jenny McCarthy & Donnie Wahlberg Are Engaged
Jenny revealed during The View: “I just got engaged … It’s a yellow sapphire!”
She went on to explain that Donnie had her son, Evan, help with the romantic proposal.
She cried as she told the news and even Donnie came onto the show and gave her a kiss! She said that her son came out with a card that said, “Will” and then the next card said, “You,” and that’s when she admitted she knew what was going on. Jenny said that Donnie came out last with a shirt that said “Me?” and that’s when she was presented with a gorgeous yellow saphirre.
“He understands my work schedule and he has his and I get it,” she said of their relationship. “And we’re both single parents and he’s trying to juggle all of that while I am too.”
This will be the second marriage for each of them.
Jenny McCarthy Talks Vaccines Again
Jenny, who has been the subject of controversy for her views on vaccines, recently admitted that she is not “anti-vaccine.”
“For years, I have repeatedly stated that I am, in fact, ‘pro-vaccine’ and for years I have been wrongly branded as ‘anti-vaccine,’” she wrote in a Chicago Sun-Times column.
For my child, I asked for a schedule that would allow one shot per visit instead of the multiple shots they were and still are giving infants. I am passionate about important conversations on how we can improve health care for our children and generations to come. This is an extremely important discussion and I am dumbfounded that these conversations are discounted and negated because the answers are not black or white. Again I ask, what happened to critical thinking?
Jenny went on to say that she would never tell anyone not to vaccinate their child.
“I’ve never told anyone to not vaccinate,” she continued. “Should a child with the flu receive six vaccines in one doctor visit? Should a child with a compromised immune system be treated the same way as a robust, healthy child? Shouldn’t a child with a family history of vaccine reactions have a different plan? Or at least the right to ask questions?”
