Seth Rogen doesn’t need any help being hysterical, but his famous friends may have thought differently! When he hosted ‘SNL’ on April 12, he was surprised with hilarious visits from James Franco and Taylor Swift who both mocked themselves. Watch the hysterical opening monologue.
James Franco‘s texting scandal became the butt of Seth Rogen‘s Saturday Night Live jokes on April 12, and when he appeared on stage, he played along with it! But he wasn’t the only one — Seth had a bunch of famous friends showing up!
Seth Rogen’s ‘SNL’ Monologue — James Franco, Taylor Swift & More
Seth Rogen opened Saturday Night Live for his third time on April 12, and explained that the other times he had hosted had gone by like a blur, so this time he decided to write down the week’s planning in a journal.
While reading his entries, it was no surprise that he cracked a James Franco joke — they’re BFFs, and with James’ last week, he had it coming.
“I decided to prank James Franco. I posed as a girl on Instagram, told him I was way young,” he said, referring to James’ flirting with 17-year-old Lucy Clode. “He seemed unfazed. I have a date to meet him at the ACE Hotel.”
However, he came face-to-face with James just moments later when he came out to greet him on stage, saying that he had been waiting for him at the hotel for three hours! It’s awesome he can play along with the joke.
Taylor Swift Mocks Herself
James wasn’t the only guest star on SNL this week. Zooey Deschanel showed up playing a ukulele, while Taylor Swift also made an appearance.
We’re not too surprised she was there since her BFF Ed Sheeran was the musical guest, but Seth asked what the heck she was doing there.
“You’re getting really upset and whenever a man shows emotion, I appear,” she said to Seth, making fun of herself for the amount of men she has dated.
