The touching caption to the tweet simply says: “Moonie, thank you for giving me so much love, comfort, and peace. It’s just to soon for me right now.”
If you can remember — on April 5 Miley paid a heart wrenching tribute to Floyd when the Bangerz tour made a stop in Brooklyn. Miley broke down and collapsed to her knees while she sang her hit “Can’t Be Tamed” to a massive blown-up doll of her lost best friend.
The giant 60-foot Floyd effigy remained on stag throughout much of the remaining performance.

Tragically, Floyd, just 2-years old was viciously attacked, and killed by a coyote on April 1. The lost was so devastating to Miley that her mother immediately bought her Moonie but some things can’t be so easily be replaced so soon.
Maybe one day Miley will find another K9 pup to love, and take the place of Floyd, but not right now.
