Tragedy has struck an Orlando, Florida day care center. At least 11 small children have serious injuries after a hit-and-run caused another vehicle to crash into the front of Kinder Care in Orange County. Police are still looking for the driver who caused this horrific accident.
Florida’s Highway Patrol are desperately searching for a truck that recklessly caused another vehicle to crash into a day care center building.
11 Injured After Car Crashes Into Day Care Center
This is an unspeakable tragedy.
What has been described as either a Dodge pickup or Durango rear-ended another vehicle, causing that vehicle to crash directly into a day care center and injuring at least a dozen people. Eleven of those victims are confirmed to be small children.
According to Cindy Williams of the Florida Highway Patrol, the truck is either silver of light blue and possibly has wheelchairs in it’s bed. The truck is also missing it’s front bumper.
Cindy also confirmed that there are 10-12 victims, and that some of their injuries are “very, very” serious.
Mayor Pleads For Public’s Help Finding Suspect
During a press conference outside of the day care center, Mayor Teresa Jacobs pleaded for the public’s help finding the driver who caused the horrific hit-and-run.
“Together, we will find whoever is responsible for this,” Mayor Jacobs promised the media.
Florida Highway Patrol has also pleaded for the driver to turn themselves in.
“If the person out there that did this is watching this, please turn yourself in,” Officer Williams declared. “It’s not worth it, because we will find you today. And I promise that.”
If you live in the area and spot a vehicle that fits the above description, please call 911 and report them immediately.
