After Peaches Geldof was found dead at 25 on April 6, police who searched her home that night say they found no evidence of ‘hard drugs, no suicide note and no visible signs of injury’ at the scene.
Peaches Geldof‘s sudden and shocking death has led many people to speculate that the English model and TV presenter may have died of a drug overdose, but so far there is no proof that that theory is true. Police who found Peaches’ body at her home in Wrotham, England on April 6 say that her passing was “sudden” and “unexplained” but they are not treating it as a suspicious death, according to the UK’s Daily Mail.
Peaches Geldof Cause Of Death: Cops Find ‘No Hard Drugs, No Suicide Note’ At Scene
As Peaches’ family, friends and fans continue to mourn their loss, police are still looking into her mysterious death. Peaches was the daughter of musician and humanitarian Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, who tragically died of a drug overdose in 2000.
Peaches, a married mother of two, was found dead at 1:35 p.m. on April 6, mere hours after she posted a picture of herself as a baby in her late mother’s arms to Instagram.
The coroner is exploring the possibility that Peaches died of natural causes, The Sun reported on April 6. We can only hope that Peaches did not follow in her mother’s tragic footsteps.
Peaches Geldof Dead — Model Leaves Behind Two Sons
Peaches leaves behind her husband, Thomas Cohen, who is the lead singer of S.C.U.M, and their two sons, Astala Dylan Willow, 23 months, and Phaedra Bloom Forever, 11 months.
Peaches’ famous father, Bob Geldof, posted the following statement on his Facebook page after his daughter’s tragic death:
Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.
Peaches’ husband Thomas released this statement:
“My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever. Thomas Astala and Phaedra Geldof-Cohen”.
Peaches had written for Elle Girl UK, and was also listed in Tatler magazine as one of their top ten fashion icons in 2006. Peaches also leaves behind her siblings, Fifi Trixibelle Geldof and Pixie Geldof and half-sister, Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Peaches’ loved ones during this difficult time.
