The show introduced several new characters and fans reactions to the new faces generally stayed on the funny side although some tended to be a little more cynical:

Woot, new season of Game of Thrones! Buckle up people who haven’t read the books, so many more characters to be killed off! — Esika Des (@Esika_Des) April 7, 2014
One of our favorite tweets has to be this one: “On a Game Of Thrones high, side effects include: shaking, weeping, laughing hysterically, shouting things at fictional characters.”
Now we can’t say that the premiere was that serious but that was certainly one of the more entertaining reactions.
