It’s a huge week for Daniel Bryan! On April 6, he won the title of World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30, and on April 11, he’s tying the knot with his fiancée Brie Bella. HollywoodLife.com caught up with the couple before WrestleMania to hear all about their nuptial plans!
Daniel Bryan (whose real name is Bryan Danielson) is a lucky, lucky man! At 32, he is now the WWE Heavyweight Champ and is marrying his best friend and fellow wrestler Brie Bella! The couple revealed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively that the pressure of WrestleMania has actually helped their relationship and their wedding planning!
Brie Bella & Daniel Bryan’s Wedding Plans Revealed
Daniel’s prepping for the biggest night of his career definitely paid off on April 6 when he beat Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista, landing him the title of WWE Heavyweight Champ. However, that doesn’t mean the pressure’s off — he has to walk down the aisle on April 11 to Brie Bella, 30!
However, the planning for WrestleMania hasn’t gotten in the way of the wedding plans — it’s actually helped!
“Bryan and I are so laid back,” Brie told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Plus we both have been in the business so long that it is our lifestyle, we are accustomed to it and know how to live on the road. So I think it is great that he is in such high demand right now around our wedding. However your career is going can really result in your mood and he couldn’t be happier right now, which is great for our wedding because I couldn’t be happier right now!”
Plus, she’s all about “bothering” him with wedding plans even during work! “It is nice to have Bryan on the road with me so I can bother him 24/7 about [the wedding],” she said!
The wedding will be taped for season two of E!’s Total Divas, which the couple couldn’t be happier about.
“We are so excited to share that moment with everyone,” Brie said. “Certainly there has been stresses trying to plan some stuff when I am in all these places.”
Brie ‘Can’t Wait’ To Have Kids
While Daniel told us that he didn’t have a Bachelor party, Brie had two Bachelorette parties! However, they’re now focusing on family, family, family.
“I think it is actually a time to regroup with your family, remember where you came from, which is nice on your wedding week, it is just exciting to realize that we are making these families one,” Brie said, adding that she’s excited for her family to grow soon, too! “Nikki [Bella] and I are smart business women and I want to be a mother in two and a half years. Or maybe three years. And unfortunately you can’t wrestle and be pregnant so we want to create a fun business and branding ourselves. And if we ever leave the ring, there is still many things to do in the WWE, so we hope to continue. But I can’t wait to be a mother!”
However, even if she does leave the ring, she may be cheering in the audience for more than just her hubby — she woudn’t mind if her son joined the WWE.
“I would love it,” she said. “I think it would be neat for our child to say that their mommy was a Diva and their dad was a Superstar. I would love it. It would be hard knowing the business and how hard it is with the traveling and the heartbreak, but it would be neat to see!”
We’re so excited for Brie and Daniel to walk down the aisle together — especially since he deserves a day of relaxation after that fight!
