Fans will say goodbye to Alice on April 3, after ABC pulled the plug on the short-lived ‘Once Upon a Time’ spinoff, ‘Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.’ Check out our EXCLUSIVE photo from the final episode and let us know if YOU are upset about the show’s abrupt ending.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland will not be returning for a second season, so sadly the show’s season finale on Thursday, April 3 (8/7c) will also be the series finale. At least the 13-episode season, inspired by the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland, will go out with a bang — we’re told there will be a huge battle between Alice and Jafar at the Well of Wonders!
‘Once Upon A Time In Wonderland’ Ending — Alice Battles Jafar In Series Finale
On the final episode of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Jafar will finally succeed in making his father love him and forcing Anastasia into believing that she loves him. After Alice, Amara and Cyrus escape, the all-powerful Jafar will capture the Jabberwocky and call upon an army of dead soldiers to do his bidding.
Meanwhile, Alice and the White Rabbit will raise their own army to fight Jafar and take control of the realm once and for all. Alice and Jafar will face off one last time at the Well of Wonders in what is sure to be an epic battle.
Our EXCLUSIVE photo shows Amara and Cyrus peering into the Well of Wonders — possibly looking for Alice — and we’re guessing this scene depicts the calm before the storm!
‘Once Upon A Time In Wonderland’ Character Joining ‘Once Upon A Time’
While we will miss Alice and co., we will remain weekly visitors of Storybrooke — Once Upon a Time is still going strong! And at least one character from the Wonderland spin-off will be crossing over to Once Upon a Time. Michael Socha, who plays the Knave of Hearts/Will, will be joining the show for Season 4.
HollywoodLifers, are you sad to see Once Upon a Time in Wonderland go so soon? Are you looking forward to the series finale? Let us know!
