‘American Idol’ Recap: The Judges Save Sam Woolf From Elimination
During the taped segment, Malaya Watson, 16, reiterated what she told HollywoodLife.com on April 2 — that she felt the evil eye from girls in the crowd after her duet of “Lucky” by Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat with Sam Woolf, 17.
Dexter Roberts, 22, is safe, because this is America and he’s a very good country singer.
Jena Irene, 17, is safe, because she is the living best.
Caleb Johnson is safe. Whoo! He’s very talented. Not always our jam, but you know. Really great voice and also kind of hilarious. He’ll for sure get a record deal after AI wraps, regardless of where he places.
Jessica Meuse, 23, is safe.
Alex Preston, 20, is safe.
‘American Idol’ Recap: Did Sam Woolf Deserve The Save From Elimination?
This leaves CJ Harris, 23, Sam Woolf, and Malaya Watson are in the bottom. For real — if Malaya gets sent home, we’re gonna do some bad stuff to somebody. We don’t know who yet, but it will happen. To somebody. Ladies, were you too jealous of her singing with Sam?! Well, he’s also on the bottom! We’re in a world gone mad!
Whoops, Sam is on the bottom and has to sing for his life. He’d better stare real hard into some girl’s eyes. He’s singing “Babylon” by David Gray. He is doing his best to move around the stage and connect with the audience, but his nervous jumping around makes him look like a marionette on strings, that poor, nervous puppy.
Holy crap, the judges used their save on Sam! YOU GUYS, MALAYA WAS ON THE BOTTOM!! What if Malaya is on the bottom again? Now they can’t save Malaya! Or Jena! Or Alex! We’re utterly verklempt. We love Sam and want him to be our boyfriend and all, but… The other contestants rush the stage as confetti falls from the ceiling and the sound keeps cutting out, as if the censors are bleeping their constant cursing.
Wowsers. What do you think about the judges using their save on Sam, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
