Singer and songwriter Regina Spektor just welcomed a brand new baby boy. The 34-year-old and her husband, Jack Dishel, took matters into their own hands and broke news about their brand new addition via Facebook.
Regina Spektor & Jack Dishel Welcome A Baby Boy
The mastermind behind Orange Is the New Black‘s theme song has another reason to celebrate. Regina’s latest hit is a “super cute” bouncing baby boy!
Regina and Jack announced the birth of their first born child on the new mom’s official Facebook page. “
I wanted to let you know that Jack and I have been happily hanging out with our new little son and that all is going great!” she wrote, showing that she is clearly elated about her new born. “Thank you for the tons of well wishes and good vibes- we wish them all right back at ya.”
Unfortunately for us, the Grammy-nominated singer did not share any pics of her little cutie.
“As you may have noticed, we’re pretty private so we won’t be posting any pictures or updates about him….” the message stated. How cute is Regina as a protective mama bear?!
Regina Announced She’s Expecting Via Facebook
The super talented singer was not able to make her Grammy debut at the Jan. 26, 2014 show because she was pregnant.
Up until then, the very private singer had not announced that she and her hubby of three years were expecting.
“I was so happy to be nominated for my first Grammy!” the Facebook statement began. “I would have definitely gone to LA for all the fun, in a party dress and with bells on, if I wasn’t so super pregnant at the moment.”
Regina was a first-time nominee in the ‘Best Song Written for Visual Media’ category.
Let us know, HollyMoms! Are you surprised by Regina’s announcement? Do you think she should release some pictures of her son? Sound off below!
