Russian photographer Alexander Kholov brought lovable ‘Simpsons’ mom, Marge to life! Complete with her signature blue hair, giant eyes and yellow skin, model Kate Moukhina was transformed into the iconic cartoon character!
Marge Simpson has been entertaining audiences and keeping her family under control for over 20 years on Fox’s The Simpsons. Now the lovable mom has been brought to life by Moscow based photographer, Alexander Kholov — and we must say, real-life Marge is frightening!
Marge Simpson: Real-Life Model Makes Transformation
As part of his incredible series The Art of Face,” Alexander transformed model Kate Moukhina into a real-life version of Marge. The makeup, done by Veronica Ershova, was spot on! By the end of the transformation, the model had perfectly achieved Marge’s yellow skin along with her giant white googly eyes that extend all the way over her eyebrows. Her mouth was also painted with black face paint and extended to be longer in order to look more cartoon-like.
What really made this transformation incredible was the hair done by Mikhail Kravchenko. To get Marge’s huge hair, Mikhail attached chrysanthemums to a wire cage — which was then spray painted blue to achieve the height and texture of Marge’s cartoon hair.
Real Marge Better Than Character?
While we love this concept, and seeing Marge as a real person was cool — she definitely looks better as a cartoon! This transformation may be creepy, but it is totally spot on! Every detail was thought about, all the way down to the iconic TV mom’s pearls.
