Exactly 28 years ago today, Lady Gaga hatched, and the world has never been the same! On March 28, the one-of-a-kind superstar turned 28 and to celebrate, we’re reflecting on her fabulous year in photos!
It’s been quite a year for Lady Gaga. She released her amazing number-one album, Artpop, posed topless multiple times (and looked fabulous), and made one of the best awards show entrances ever on a human-powered horse at the AMAs. She also let someone puke on her on stage, but let’s focus on the positive and see what else Mama Monster has to celebrate!
Lady Gaga Birthday — Singer/Performer Turns 28
She lives for the applause and we live to applaud her! The most amazing thing about Lady Gaga is that she seems to outdo herself every year.
She released her second number-one album, Artpop, on Nov. 11, 2013 to rave reviews. The album has spawned the successful singles “Applause”, “Do What U Want”, featuring R. Kelly, and now “G.U.Y.”, which Gaga released on her 28th birthday. What an awesome birthday gift for her little monsters!
Lady Gaga also made her screen debut, starring as La Chameleón in Robert Rodriguez‘s Machete Kills. Her performance earned her a Golden Raspberry nomination for Worst Supporting Actress, but hey, at least she tried something new!
Lady Gaga also hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time in 2013, which is a huge honor for any star. Not only was she hilarious in a skit dissing Kanye West, but she also brought down the house with her sexy performance of “Do What U Want” with R. Kelly.
We can’t believe how much she’s accomplished in just one year! Of course, we know Lady Gaga still has so many more tricks up her sleeve and we can’t wait to see them all!
Happy birthday, Lady Gaga — we hope your 28th year will be your best one yet!
