Jessie James: We’re Not ‘Whoring Ourselves Out’ On ‘Eric & Jessie’

Thu, March 27, 2014 5:48pm EST by 3 Comments

There’s a difference between being open and honest on reality TV, and ‘whoring yourself out’ as Jessie calls it — and that’s not what she and her hubby are doing! The new mom opened up to HollywoodLife.com exclusively about what we’ll see this season of ‘Eric & Jessie,’ premiering on March 30!

It’s a big month for Jessie James and Eric Decker! On March 18, Jessie gave birth to their new baby girl, and on March 30, season two of their reality show Eric & Jessie: Game On hits E! Read our interview and watch a sneak peek of the premiere below!

Jessie James: ‘Eric & Jessie’ Season 2 — Baby, Baby, Baby

While most of season two of the show will revolve around Jessie’s pregnancy, she and her beau are completely open in front of the cameras — and that’s why we love them!

“I think there’s a difference between kind of whoring yourself out and then also just kind of having an open personality,” Jessie told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “If you’re gonna be in this business, it’s better to be more open than be shady,bc people are going to figure it out anyway, so we’ve been fine with it.”

While the show wrapped before Jessie had her baby, she does plan on showing some of the birth on the show, but wanted to take “just a little break” to relax before!

During the season we’ll see Jessie recording her new album while being pregnant — which wasn’t an easy task since her first priority was supporting Eric and his career.

“I had been waiting to record this record and getting it together for the longest time, and the minute I went into the stdio, I started feeling really really sick and I couldn’t hit some of the notes that are so easy!” she explained. “You’ll see on the show. I realize that I have the H1N1 flu virus, so the records your hearing, I sing that with the flu and I figured out I had that virus the next day. [It was] so intense!”

Lucky for her, she has a man who helps with everything and anything he can!

Eric ‘Spoiled’ Jessie While Pregnant

While she did finish her album, this season was mostly about her “number one focus,” prepping for a baby and helping Eric get ready for the Super Bowl (he played for the Denver Broncos at the time).

“You’re gonna see a lot of the preparation, Eric’s road to the Superbowl, me handling my career and writing and trying to balance everything– keeping a household together while being a supportive football wife,” she said.

And she definitely has. She went through a tough pregnancy since she went in and out of being sick, having carpal tunnel and tendinitis. However, she and Eric have always been super supportive of each other and she still made it to the big game!

“As soon as football season was over, it was like a light switch went off and he has just been incredible,” Jessie said of her hubby. “Like waiting on me hand and foot, and I just feel so spoiled!”

Eric was signed on to the New York Jets recently, so they are currently making the move from Denver to New York — but she’s not worried about it.

“I feel like I have such a ‘go with the flow’ personality, whatever team he wanted to go to that he feels is going to be good for him I’m down,” Jessie told us. “I can always get on a plane, and travel to Nashville [or] LA and do my work. It’s all good.”

We’re so excited for this season! Tune in to E! on March 30 at 10 PM ET for the season two premiere of Eric & Jessie: Game On! And don’t miss a sneak peak above!

I’ve seen this show, and it’s awful. It’s amazing that she even mentions the term “whoring out,” because that’s exactly what she appears to do on the show. And how about that Super Bowl??
