The totally hot ‘Game of Thrones’ star is taking over the April issue of ‘GQ’ magazine, and besides showing off his ridiculous body, he’s also advocating for the guys of his HBO show to start stripping down more. Is there petition we can sign for this immediately or something!?
Kit Harington, 27, is finally getting the spread he deserves. The Game of Thrones actor is front and center in the April issue of GQ and we could not be happier! And as if this photo shoot wasn’t enough of a treat, Kit also dished on his nude scene for Thrones — and even said that he thinks the male characters should start showing more skin! You hear that, Jaime Lannister?
Kit Harington Dishes On Male Nudity In ‘Game Of Thrones’
When Kit’s character Jon Snow stripped off his wildling rags in the third season of Game of Thrones, we couldn’t peel our eyes away (although, the butt in the infamous butt shot wasn’t technically his). And we’re amazed to hear how cool Kit was with showing a little skin!
In fact, he thinks that the women of Game of Thrones shouldn’t be the only ones with nude scenes. “It’s only right,” he says in the interview, “if you’re going to make a show where nudity and sex is a large part of it, that you be a part of that.” We co-sign this thought, like a thousand times.
Now we just need all the other male stars to get behind Kit’s sentiment. Except Hodor. Hodor can keep his clothes on.
Kit Harington: Why People Like ‘Thrones’
Kit also dished on why he thinks people are totally obsessed with the show. “I think people like Game of Thrones because people respond to not being treated like idiots,” Kit says. “It’s a really complex story, and it’s very hard to follow, and people love working that puzzle out. And essentially why I think people like it is it’s a rollicking good story with sex and violence.” We’d have to agree with him on that one!
Don’t forget to pick up a copy of GQ on April 4 to read Kit’s feature (and drink in his breathtaking photo shoot)!
