On the March 25 episode of ‘Teen Mom 2,’ Jenelle Evans gets locked up again after violating her probation. Meanwhile, Leah Messer has a heartbreaking fight with her husband, Jeremy Calvert, and Kailyn Lowry finally walks down the aisle to Javi Marroquin.
A brand new episode brings more drama from the Teen Mom‘s, including an unexpected arrest that lands troublemaker Jenelle Evans in jail for days.
Jenelle Spends 2 Days In Jail
Jenelle Evans is headed to court with the support of boyfriend Nathan Griffith because of her prior heroin charges. In order to avoid eight months in jail, her lawyer has arranged a plea deal for her. Jenelle is definitely nervous beforehand, and even more so about potentially seeing her ex Courtland Rogers at her hearing. Jenelle is also pretty sure she’s not going to spend any time in jail. Nathan, however, seems to be nervous that she might be getting arrested at the hearing. Courtland does show up to the hearing, but he just stands in the parking lot like a creep while Jenelle and Nathan walk inside ignoring him. This was really smart of Jenelle and Nathan, and a great way to avoid confrontation.
The hearing goes well for Jenelle, and her plea deal is accepted, but the judge surprises her with a drug test. Jenelle failed the drug test though, because they found marjuana in her system. Nathan is being really supportive, but Jenelle is so nervous her legs are shaking. I have to admit, even I’m a little nervous waiting to see what happens.
Later in the episode, Nathan shows up at Jenelle’s moms house to share the news that Jenelle has been arrested. Barbara Evans, Jenelle’s mom, is furious about the news. Barbara flips out about the news, and tells Nathan that Jenelle will jeopardize everyone’s future — including his. Barbara admits that she’s glad Jenelle went to jail, and I’m surprised Nathan stays so quiet during her rant.
After Jenelle’s forty eight hours in jail, Nathan picks her up and surprises her with a bouquet of flowers. Jenelle now has to serve eight months of unsupervised probation, which means no more court dates. Jenelle admits to Nathan that she started crying the second she was admitted to jail, and hopefully she’ll work hard to avoid ever having to go back.
Unfortunately, as soon as Jenelle gets home she finds out that Nathan was talking to another girl on Facebook. She starts flipping out about it, but he tries to calm her down by telling her the girl is just a friend. It results in a huge fight, and the two of them are screaming each other at the top of their lungs. Jenelle claims that she was sitting in jail crying about him for the two days she was in jail, and he was at home talking to girls. Nathan keeps saying he won’t talk to girls anymore, but Jenelle doesn’t seem pleased either way. Maybe she’s just got some pent up anger from being locked up for two days? Either way, I think Nathan’s actions speak much louder than words — he went straight to her mom when she was arrested, he decorated the house while she was gone, and he brought her flowers when he picked her up on time when she was released. Jenelle might be stressed, but she should stop taking her anger out on Nathan when he’s just trying to be a good guy.
In the end, Jenelle calms down and we get a glimpse of Nathan hugging her tightly.
Leah & Jeremy Are Headed For Splitsville
After Leah Messer‘s husband Jeremy Calvert told her about the job offer in New Mexico, she finds out that he got a local offer and turned it down. Leah shares that when she mentioned the job offer to Jeremy, they got into a fight and stormed off. Leah also shares that she found out about the job offer by going through his phone and reading his Facebook messages, which is a major relationship no-no. Why would a happily married couple need to snoop on each other? Something definitely doesn’t seem right about this. Leah is clearly upset about Jeremy going away for work again, too.
When Jeremy comes back after fighting with Leah, she tries talking to him again. Leah is nervous because he’s leaving in just one day for five weeks, and if he leaves while they are fighting then they will have much bigger problems. Jeremy doesn’t want to talk though, and instead of trying to discuss their problems he is just dismissing them. Leah starts crying and this time, she’s the one to walk away. While she’s having her breakdown, she tells no one in particular that, “This isn’t going to work out. I don’t want to live like this.” Will Leah ever catch a break?
Later in the episode, Jeremy is packing for his job in New Mexico while Leah is wrangling her three kids. Before leaving, Jeremy makes a silent move by sitting very close to Leah on the couch. It seems silly, but I think it’s his way of telling her he wants to be close to her again. Leah starts explaining that she’s grateful for all that he does for their family, but that she hates that he has to go so far to do it. Despite her best efforts, Jeremy leaves for the job, and Leah is left sitting at home looking mighty pissed off about it.
Now that Jeremy is gone, Leah gets a chance to talk to her ex Corey Simms about their daughter Ali’s upcoming doctor appointment. Did anyone else notice Leah lie to Corey about things being “good”? Then she casually mentions that he’s out of town for work, and continues to tell him about the job offer he turned down. It’s nice that these two have their co-parenting skills down, but maybe they shouldn’t talk to each other about their relationship issues.
Kailyn & Javi Finally Tie The Knot
The day is here! Kailyn Lowry is marrying Javi Marroquin. Even though these two have been legally married for a while, they are having a big ceremony to make it official in front of their friends and families. While Kailyn is getting her hair done, she wonders whether or not she should slip Javi tongue during their first kiss. Scandalous!
Kailyn looks beautiful in her wedding gown, and she is positively glowing with her baby bump. While she’s taking photos before the wedding, Javi is getting dressed with her son, Isaac. Kailyn unpacks her sandals for the wedding and finds that Javi wrote her a special message on the bottom of them. So sweet!
When the moment finally comes, it’s Isaac who walks Kailyn down the aisle. It’s a moment so sweet, there doesn’t seem to be a dry eye in the house. That includes Kailyn!
The wedding ceremony is beautiful, and Kailyn and Javi wrote their own vows to each other. During the vows, Isaac asks Kailyn if she’s happy, and she tells him yes. He is too cute during this wedding, especially in that handsome little tux.
And yes, Kailyn and Javi even got their kiss perfect in front of their friends and family!
Chelsea Graduates From Aesthetician School
When we catch up with Chelsea Houska, she is excited to be almost finished with aesthetician school. In order to graduate, she had to complete 600 hours of classes and training. Intense! In order to celebrate, Chelsea’s adorable daughter Aubree and her mom and dad, Mary and Randy Houska, come to watch Chelsea’s graduation announcement once she officially completes her 600th hour. Randy is so proud of Chelsea he films the moment on his cell phone, and even surprises her with a make up themed cake!
While waiting for her aesthetician license to be approved by the state, Chelsea gets proactive and goes on a job interview. It’s awesome to see her taking action, and focusing on starting her career. The interview goes really well, and Chelsea gets offered the position before it’s over. Chelsea is ecstatic that she gets to do what she loves and be a single mom at the same time. It’s pretty impressive!
Chelsea starts her new job, which means Aubree is in daycare full time.
During a lunch date with her friend Landon, Chelsea doesn’t seem to want to talk about Adam. No one knows where their custody battle stands, but at least Chelsea is doing really well on her own.
