I honestly believe that the president should have stayed away from this type of photo-op. There are so many options open to a president who wants to be photographed and wants to be in the news. He doesn’t need to be shopping for clothes. And certainly not women’s clothes. I quote directly from the article:

“He preferred to keep them in sweaters and tops and he didn’t want to buy anyone bottoms in the wrong size,” Humberto said, laughing. ”He was more nervous that he’d get the wrong size in the bottom selection than anything else.”

Humberto Anaya is the store’s general manager. Obama is seen holding up a cardigan in the photo and it may be that he wanted to avoid the “bottom selection” because when he holds up clothing for the bottoms, whether it be pants or skirts, the men out there would be focused on the buttocks of his wife and his two daughters. No doubt that was a consideration. But was that the only consideration?

There is also the possibility that he didn’t want us to connect him with the bottoms of his daughters who are now teenagers. He would have been under heightened scrutiny holding up clothes for the lower parts of his daughters. The photos of him holding up a skirt for Malia or pants for Sasha would have been scrutinized by a public eager for any sign of arousal on the part of the father. The wrong look or simply a bad photo angle could have been misunderstood by a public experienced and gifted in the art of detecting sexual arousal. And there would have been questions on everyone’s minds: Would he be with Malia when she tries on her new skirt? When she took it off? Malia is the older of the two girls and she is now 15. When was the last time that he saw her naked bottom? Why isn’t he sure about the size? When was the last time that he touched it?

These are the questions he wanted to avoid, And he avoided them by purchasing only garments for the upper parts of his girls. But he would have done well to stay away from women’s clothing altogether. Because when he avoids skirts and pants and panties, we inevitably wonder why such clothing makes him uncomfortable. And we also wonder whether there is anything he is trying to hide. Does he harbor any emotions for the flourishing teenage girls? Any inappropriate touching of their beautiful teenage parts? Those beautiful lower parts. Because clothing for those beautiful lower parts he was so careful to avoid.

The shopping trip has nothing to do with being a “regular guy” and everything to do with his tanking approval ratings. Go take another vacation, Regular Guy.

Oh my gawd, whoever the writer of this article is, is a total idiot. Sorry pumpkin, the President is NOT “one of us”…this was NOTHING more than a photo op, period. He has been a bumbling idiot as a president and anyone who thinks he is “just a regular guy” probably voted for him…twice. Thanks for being a part of ruining this “once great” country. Go get your heads examined.

Everyone is complaining about the high costs high copays and high deductibles that Obama care provides. The costs are horrible and will go even higher once the govt has control. We can no longer afford shopping at the gap.

When O-BUM-A is finished with all his great health reform plans, we will all be shopping at the 99 cent stores!
