Brad would make an excellent detective and most of his roles are very complex characters with hidden possibilities. His diversity and keen sense of awareness has made him the great actor he is today. From 12 Monkeys to the intense ” World War Z” (the highest grossing film of 2013 @ $533 million), he’s proved to us that he is still one of the most talented actors today, winning a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and 5 Academy Award noms. While not just a pretty face, he’s a great humanitarian with numerous favorite charities and political causes. Unfortunately I don’t think he has the time for this role b/c he recently said he wants to spend more time with his kids.

NO WAY can Brad Pitt pull off such a complex character!! He got roles on his looks not acting…and that was YEARS ago. No one will be able to follow Mathew and do the character justice; and no two actors will have the chemistry that Mathew and Woody have. Next season will be a total bust. Why would you even start a series when you know you will have to replace all your actors to play the same characters??! Pretty stupid. …disgruntled and done watching, switched to Banshee on Cinamax where they keep their main actors. …too bad they really had somthing

Agree. Brad Pitt has never been an interesting actor.
It’s going to take someone with much more intelligence and intensity to play either of the two leads.
I heard Brad Pitt interviewed once, on “Charlie Rose”. He could barely speak about anything.

Christian Bale comes to mind for one of the roles.

Really, too bad, that the first two amazing Mathew and Woody, characters, couldn’t stay on for the next 10 years. It’s a wonderful Series!.

Michael Shannon and Catherine Keener. Two actors with enough range pull off the next season. I jeer at the choice of Brad, BOO!
