‘Bachelor’ Juan Pablo Dissed By Sean Lowe For Rudeness To Chris Harrison

Tue, March 11, 2014 9:49am EDT by 29 Comments

What’s the number one rule you can never break on ‘The Bachelor?’ Well, Juan Pablo seems to have broken every rule in the ‘Bachelor’ book, but former star Sean Lowe just had to weigh in when Juan Pabs committed the biggest sin of all — he was rude to Chris Harrison! Oh no no.

Juan Pablo Galavis has a lot to learn in life, in love, in respect for women, and — perhaps most importantly — in reverence for TV hosting deities like Chris Harrison. When JP was rude to Chris throughout The Bachelor‘s March 10 finale, it got so bad that former Bachelor Sean Lowe threw him shade on Twitter!

‘Bachelor’ Finale — Sean Lowe Disses Juan Pablo

Host Chris Harrison — also known as Cupid, the Love Doctor, St. Valentine, and All-Powerful Overlord of The Bachelor — was simply trying to help Juan Pablo during The Bachelor‘s March 10 finale, since that’s what the kindly host does. He brings true love and happiness to gorgeous, single men and women worldwide.

Apparently Chris’ inherent goodness was lost on Juan Pablo, who spent the night interrupting Chris on both the finale episode and the After The Final Rose special. JP being rude should really come as no surprise at this point since he bookended his Bachelor season by insulting gay people and the mentally handicapped — and of course, “slut-shamed” runner-up Clare after they hooked up — but Season 17 Bachelor Sean Lowe pointed out that Juan Pablo only really crossed the line when he broke the show’s number one rule:

Preach!

Juan Pablo Tells Clare He Loves [EXPLETIVE]-Ing Her

Of course, Juan Pabs didn’t only insult Chris Harrison on finale night — runner up Clare Crawley was fuming after JP told her that he “loved f–king her” during their romantic helicopter ride in St. Lucia. (Hey, take what you can get, Clare — winner Nikki Ferrell didn’t get to hear that L-word at all!)

“He leaned over and then he said, ‘I feel like we don’t know each other. You don’t know me, I don’t know you,’” Clare reveals during an emotional confessional. “He chooses not to say something romantic, but that he loved hooking up with me. What he said and the words he used… I can’t even repeat it.”

Later, after Juan Pablo tells Clare she’s not the one, she says: “Don’t tell me you love f–king me.” (Among other things)

Pure insanity. What did you think of the Bachelor finale, HollywoodLifers? Are you glad that Juan Pablo’s reign of terror has come to an end?

I didn’t like him on Desiree’s season, I was glad he got booted off and I was very disappointed when he was picked as The Bachelor!! There were much better jilted men to choose from than him!

Juan Pablo is a Total Scumbag!!
ABC is right-on by quickly separating themselves from him.
ABC should pull him from all endorsements of the Show and not invtie him back for any future shows.
End of Story!
He should take a long walk off a short pier. I hope all other networks banish him too.

The tide will turn. The “machine” that is the show, started to socially construct him negatively by editing things out that were positive, and including things that fit the negative image they were trying to construct of him, in order to distance themselves from him after he made a misconstrued comment about homosexuality. It’s pretty obvious to anyone who chooses to question what the powerful spin doctors are up to. It’s funny actually to watch all these second rate writers and web sites, and so called “celebrities” dominate the discussion and the rest of the puppets in the world eat it up as “truth”. Juan Pablo has been bullied by all the things that were portrayed about him. I can only imagine how powerless that must make one feel. However, you have seriously underestimated him! He is very intelligent and will persevere. Just wait and see. All this garbage about “worst bachelor ever” is pathetic. He was very respectful and kind to all the women. He didn’t drink alcohol and encouraged them not to. He refused to do the two dates thing because he saw it as hurtful to the women. He was so sensitive and kind. He was funny. Just b/c he made a comment outside the show, all of a sudden, like a pack of wild dogs, the show and media turned on him and yes, bit by bit, with each disparaging comment, or cleverly constructed image, they tried to make him seem to be a villain. Shame on ALL of you. To be so readily taken in, to be so manipulated by the powers that be on the show/station; to not think critically about what has happened, is a sad reflection of the level of intelligence in the mainstream!

Sean will continue to get jobs on TV and is married. Juan Pablo will still be paying child support, living with his parents, and will be an off-air tool with the CLOSEST eyes I’ve ever seen in a mammal, rat and opossum included, just as much as he was on air.

Absolutely the worst “after the final rose” show ever… it was disturbing to watch Chris Harrison try to badger Juan Pablo into professing love for Nikki, who seemed ok with the situation at first, but after the badgering continued, she seemed close to tears. I haven’t been a fan of everything about Juan Pablo, but I respect him completely for his honesty and for standing up to that bullying last night. It was very clear that he and Nikki are hoping to have a real relationship on their own terms, not on network terms. Good for them for trying to be real in the midst of all that. The treatment of Juan Pablo by the show and particularly by Chris Harrison the last few weeks has left a very bad taste in my mouth!

Exactly! He wasn’t rude because he just felt like it. He was being bullied by Chris and the network to force him to say something he’s not ready to say, YET. But yeah, let’s just pretend the show simply HAS to end in a proposal and stupid stuff like that. Some people just get their panties in a twist if their proposal fetish isn’t fulfilled by this show. Find something better to do with your lives you losers. (not you)

Sean Lowe looks like a puppet, like he has no backbone. As for Chris Harrison, he was very rude to Nikki and Juan Pablo. Who is he to talk . . . didn’t he leave his wife of 18 years for a contestant. What a hypocrite!!!

Sean looks like a nice guy who looks like a true gentleman. The hypocrite? The guy who doesn’t want his daughter to know what he’s doing what he tells a girl ‘you’re a great F’. Tell us who the hypocrite really is. Oh no please don’t show my daughter this. Hey baby you’re a great F. Give us a break.

I was calling Chris Harrison a hypocrite because he left his wife of 18 years for a contestant. As for Sean Lowe, most women think he is weak. Just read the other comments by WOMEN.

Even if he’s a gentleman, he still has no backbone and he has moments when he doesn’t know what he’s talking about and is rude to people. Juan whispered it in her ear so how would the daughter know, WTF are you talking about? Can you logic? He didn’t say she’s “a great F”, he said he “loved F-in her” which is a bit different. It can be hot when dudes say that, but considering their relationship wasn’t at that point, it came off rude. He still explained himself, so get over yourself :)

I agree totally. Chris Harrison was a mad man trying to make Juan say what he wanted him to say. It’s time for him to go when he starts dictating that they have to say “I love You” They clearly were saying they wanted to date and find out if they are meant for each other. He’s for real and not prone to faking it like the rest of the contestants who claim love and break up weeks or months later…ugh.

He’s just plain rude. To say “glad I didn’t pick her” re. Claire for being honest and true regarding his inappropriate handling of her heart (and lack of his own) ..was disgusting. WHY Nikki CHOOSES to be with this person is entirely unknown in lieu of everything she now knows about him. Hopefully her self esteem grows to a point of knowing she deserves so much more!

My wife and I watched the entire show (as well as most of the past shows). For those people whining what a waste of time and garbage it is and touting that you’ve never watch it; we find it relaxing to watch each week. It shows off the many sides of emotions from people involved in relationships. The editing is often excellent.

That said, this is the first time we both thought Chris Harrison was way out of line with his snarky, childish remarks and completely uncalled for jabs throughout his questioning of Juan Pablo. Many previous contestants had already not made it to the final rose ceremony as it is. One literally booted his selection in exchange for his second choice on the final rose show. Another dumped both women in the finally.

Juan Pablo took it all in, and while agitated about the badgering from Chris Harrison, still showed respect and appreciation for the show, and what it did for them both. But he was being REAL. He probably could have said I am now falling in love with her but said it is now STARTING and we will see, which was still plenty good enough for us and seemed very sincere. The news for my wife and I was how much respect we lost for Chris Harrison. And we have always loved that guy. He’s been a perfect host and usually very balanced. But not last night.

It also didn’t help Juan Pablo to want to stay public after all the bad publicity he’s received off the show for poor comments about gays and mentally handicapped people. But my honest opinion is those comments were mostly a result of the fact that english is his second language.

Claire, the scorned runner up, simply looked like she had eaten a big bowl of sour grapes. Someone wins and someone loses. They argued too much as it was. I’ve seen people leave with dignity (Rene for example) but Claire was a bad example and showed her true colors of what she’d be like.

Once again, a great show to enjoy and we’re happy for Juan Pablo for how he ended it all!

I agree totally. I typically think Chris Harrison is great but he was absolutely out of line demanding that Juan says he loved NIkki. It’s absolutely astounding that people don’t defend Juan after such an unfair beating that continued when Andi was announced and interviewed. He clearly has it in for Juan and I think he should be called out for his inappropriate handling of the interview.

So Sean Low, who chose to get married in a tacky ceremony in front of millions on national TV — and on ABC’s tab — is lecturing Juan Pablo about his lack of integrity? Kind of funny. Maybe Juan Pablo just didn’t feel like going through the charade of professing love for Nikki….because they’ve barely spent any real time together and he’s not sure that love is what he feels for her at this point. (Does everyone profess deep love for someone after only a few dates?? Not in my experience.) I’m not saying that Juan Pablo is the deepest guy in the world, but I do give him credit points for not wanting to play act.

Absolutely! Sean Lowe is lowering himself to take the side of Chris Harrison because ” He doesn’t want to slap the hand that feeds him”. I respected Sean last season but his inability to recognize that Juan was just trying to be real and truthful was very disappointing.

The author pays no notice of the fact that Chris Harrison was abysmally rude to Juan Pablo in the final episode. MOST men don’t propose to a woman in a few months; smart men not only want love but want each to know each others ups and downs enough to be able to trust that the marriage will last. Based on the number of actual Bachelor Show marriages, most bachelors on the show probably fake their proposal because it’s expected, not because they’re SURE they actually want the eventual marriage. JP always told us he was very honest, Nikki says so too, so that’s true. JP says he came on the show to find love, so it’s true. He and Nikki deserved a happy sendoff in a relationship they both say is real and actual and serious – Chris was ABYSMALLY rude not to give them that. It is Chris who most egregiously violated the number one rule of the show: don’t offend.

It’s not just about not being engaged. Yeah, there have been few cases when the Bachelor doesn’t propose, but Juan Pablo wasn’t even in love and doesn’t even say he loves Nikki. What kind of expectation is that? Was he just playing games? Were some people that he wasn’t there for love – that he wasn’t looking for a wife – he didn’t put effort to get to know the girls. Chris Harisson just can’t believe that Juan Pablo does not even love Nikki at the end of the show. That’s the word he was trying to pull from Juan Pablo – for people to have some faith on their relationship. But Juan Pablo was just plain rude in every way.

He doesn’t know her enough to profess his love for her. Don’t you get that….that’s what dating is for…in the real world. Like they said….time will tell and he wants to be 100% sure before he goes around professing love and proposing. Doesn’t it occur to you that two people don’t always fall in love at the exact time and that some people are slower and more cautious in using those words. Look at all the couples that proclaimed their love at the end of the season and then broke up….most of the….let’s be real. That’s what Juan is trying to be and Chris Harrison and his fantasy 3 week ride refuses to accept.

Juan Pablo. John Paul. You sir, are an IDIOT. Nobody liked your girly voice. Nobody liked you touching their hair. Nobody thinks you’re cute because your eyeballs touch each other they are so close. You have no intelligence. You have likely just been thrown out of all American media after your stupid season, your stupid comments, your stupid behavior asking for privacy last night. Guess what, you MORON? You GOT what you asked for last night. We won’t be seeing your face on American TV anymore thank GOD. Maybe you will end up on Telemundo or Sabado Gigante. Such a big ‘soccer star’ like you should be fine though, living with your mommy and daddy and daughter in an apartment. Yes, that’s every girls dream guy isn’t it? A high-pitched, close-eyed MORON who lives with his parents and daughter in an apartment making minimum wage? Are you?

Re Trina /Clare, is that you? –
Harrison was instigating – he could see Juan Pablo was biting- IT is all for ratings. Even the “surprise” Harrison was plugging. It is speculated that Juan Pablo was offered a sum of money form the show if he proposed – I give him credit for not being bought at the end, which is more than you can say for the high and mighty ex-bachelor contestants sitting on the sidelines – And as for as Sean and his wife’s quote “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you” is the only “rule” they are following. Then they continue to disparage Juan Pablo for seeking privacy, which was his only ammunition left, was not believable coming from them. They are constantly seeking out the limelight one gig after another ad nauseam. They will be a fixture for the show, a yes-man, bland fixture.
Harrison seems like a little weasel, but he fits the show- so good for him.
