Robin is not taking ‘no’ for an answer! He’s doing everything in his power to win Paula back — and it sounds like she might actually be ready to give him another chance!
When Robin Thicke and Paula Patton separated on Feb. 24 after 22 years together and nine years of marriage, it was a sad day for everyone who believes in true love. Paula firmly insisted that she wanted a divorce from the “Blurred Lines” singer, but Robin does not want to end the relationship and he’s working hard to try and win her back, through honest conversations and taking great care of their son.
Paula Patton & Robin Thicke Relationship — His Romantic Moves To Win Her Back
Robin and Paula, who dated since he was 14, vowed to always be “best friends” after their separation. However, Robin is not convinced that the sparks are gone, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to win back the love of his life, according to TMZ. And as for Paula, she is willing to give him another shot!
“The tone of the conversations has changed, and the two of them are now talking about what Robin needs to do to convince Paula that the marriage can work to her satisfaction,” TMZ’s source shares.
Robin has the right idea — there is no better way to resolve a relationship issue than by showing the other party you are willing to do whatever they need you to do. It’s clearly working, and Paula has reportedly put a hold on her divorce plans. In fact, she’s not even planning to hire a divorce lawyer anymore!
Robin, 36, has also impressed Paula, 38, by giving extra love and attention to their son, Julian Fuego Thicke, 3, since the split. He has been making sure to spend time with Julian whenever possible and has also kept in touch with him while on the road, the source adds.
Paula Patton Not Impressed By Robin’s On-Stage Gestures
While Paula has been touched by Robin’s “smooth” talking, his willingness to change his behavior, and his attentive parenting, she is not so impressed with his on-stage antics.
On Feb. 28 at his concert in Fairfax, Va., Robin opened up to the audience about missing Paula, saying, “For y’all that don’t know me and my wife separated, but I’m trying to get my girl back. She’s a good woman.” He then dedicated his love song “Lost Without U” to her.
While this was definitely a grand and romantic gesture, it is not what Paula wants to see from her boo, according to TMZ. She is not into this kind of PDA.
OK, so the message we’re getting from this is: Keep it private and keep it classy, Robin. And if you do, there’s a good chance you’ll get your lady love back! Also, maybe keep your hands off other girls’ booties … just a thought.
