When big-screen hotshots like ‘Star Wars’ director J.J. Abrams and ‘Gravity’ director Alfonso Cuaron unite for a TV series, you know it’s going to be a huge deal. Luckily, we have your sneak peek at the thrilling new series below!

A girl with telekinetic superpowers that can save the world. An ex-con who is somehow stuck with her. Numerous nefarious forces combining to take them down. This is the heart-pounding reality on NBC’s new drama Believe, which premieres March 10 on NBC. Check it out below, if you believe that that would be a good idea.

‘Believe’ Premiere Sneak Peek Video — Watch The First Scene

Well, they certainly start things off with a bang!

The first scene shows us that we’re in for quite the ride. In the scene, Cuaron (who directed the episode) puts us right in the middle of a devastating car crash that renders poor Bo (Johnny Sequoyah) alone and parent-less. Not because the crash killed them, of course, but because a mean British lady murders them after the accident.

Basically, some pretty nefarious forces are after Jo, who has been shown in the promos to possess the powers of levitation and telekinesis, among others. Serious stuff!

So what’s the verdict, HollywoodLifers? Will you tune in tonight at 10 p.m. to see more, or did the opening scene make you a non-believer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
