It seems like everyone is morning the passing of ‘The Honeymooners’ actress Sheila MacRae. Many have taken to Twitter and other social media sites to reveal their feelings about her death.
Sheila MacRae, 93, was best known for playing Alice Kramden in the 1960s reboot of the hit CBS television series The Honeymooners. Sadly, she passed away on Mar. 7, but her passing has revealed a following far larger than even she could possibly believe.
Sheila MacRae Passes Away But Leaves Huge Fan Following
Sheila has certainly left a legacy. The British actress passed away on Mar. 7 and fans instantly took to Twitter to send out their prayers, thoughts, and well wishes.
People that didn’t even watch an episode even managed to send out their condolences. But for those who were very familiar with the woman who played Ralf Kramden’s ( Jackie Gleason) wife Alice, the messages ranged from shocked to simply sad.

Sheila MacRae Fans Send Condolences On Twitter
Sheila starred as Ralph Kramden’s sassy, long-suffering wife from 1966 to 1970 on The Jackie Gleason Show. She passed away at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood, N.J., according to Variety.
She was married to Oklahoma! singer/actor Gordon MacRae from 1941 to 1967. The couple had four children together, including Petticoat Junction star Meredith MacRae.
