REALLy!!!!! This show is soooooo scary… Baby after baby and soooo on.. People actually find this show inspiring wow… 2 tons of kids raising a ton of little kids and babies… What relationship could these parents possibly have with 19 children NoT MUCH obviously if they are constantly making more babies.. How about appreciating the children you have instead of being silly n explaining a miscarriage to kids that aren’t even able to hug or kiss while courting but talking about miscarriage is appropriate!!! I would be so grossed out and embarresed if my mom was popping out babies every 9 months who wants constantly think ,,wow sooo exciting mom and dad are getting it in AGAIN -YAH more babies… This show freaks me out… Cut it out…. Meanwhile people act like they kno the duggers on a personal level oh so innocent SO far from reality😁😲

Who are any of you to tell someone they shouldn’t have anymore babies? Birth control of any kind is against everything they believe in, in their religion they believe that God chooses how many children you have, I have four children and have lost two babies plus my youngest was born at 29 weeks and almost died so I guess thats Gods way of telling me I shouldn’t have more children right? Oh wait I lost two of them before I got pregnant with my second and went on to have babies 2. 3 and 4 so why don’t you guys worry about yourselves and your families because what the Duggers choose to do is none of your buisness anyway

It doesn’t totally make sense that the other kids would be “devastated” that the 20th baby miscarried. And they didn’t look devastated. Sad, maybe. Sorry for mom, maybe. NOt devastated.

If the Duggars would adopt me, I’d love to be their 21st child (although I’m older than the mother). I wish my family had this closeness and stood by each other like this. I wish I had been loved and coveted as all their children are. And, I wish everyone in the world were so positive and decent. Wishful thinking.

You really need to read up on this cult. They are not truly happy or positive they ‘have’ to be. If not you are physically punished! The outside appearance of this family trust me is nothing like what is ‘really’ going on. Just google ex members (Quiverfull) and you will find horrifying, abusive stories.

You know what, the Duggar ‘ s have taught the 19 children they have to be loving, giving, upstanding citizens of this world. They have done this without any help from the government. If they leave everything in God’s hands then they are doing what they feel is right. Not one single person outside the Duggar family and Mrs. Duggar ‘ s physician has a right to tell them that following what God has planned for them is wrong. I don’t care if they have 100 children that’s their choice as a couple. Leave them alone they have been through enough it’s easy to make a judgment about someone else unless you have felt the loss of a miscarriage you have no idea what the family is feeling. My condolences on the loss of your child Mr and Mrs Duggar. Just remember your beautiful daughter is back with God. He holds her and loves her and needed an angel. I’m so sorry.

So true, why do people feel they have the right to tell other people what to do or not to do.. Everyone should be worried about their own world..

my personal opinion is that any psychiatrist or psychologist would say Michelle is addicted to being pregnant. who in their right mind would want 19 or 20 kids. Its insane. Now I think she is going to be zealous of her daughter in law that is now having babies, that is my opinion, for what it is worth

Really, did God personally tell you that was His/Her message for someone else’s life? If so, you are amazing and should have your own ministry. You could tell all of us the messages that God wants us to hear but only you are capable of comprehending. People would line up and pay you lots of money since you are THE ONE who gets information directly from God about everyone else.

I love the show! It’s nothing but inspiring to me! The upbeat attitude and love the family share is a perfect example of how we all should love and treat each other. I’m sure they have their ups & downs, but the way they choose to handle these hurdles is just inspirational. If i’m having a bad day, i love to watch and see what’s happening in their life. I, myself am a Christian and love the Lord with all my heart and am just happy to see a program as uplifting & God loving as this one…Thank you Duggars…we love you!

I have been waiting to hear about something like this about the Duggar family, as sad as that sounds. But the truth is not that they are selfish, but that the couple believes they are doing what is right in their Gods eyes, and that is perfectly okay. On the other hand, baby #19 did almost lose her life. And now #20 did not make it out of the womb alive. Next, we will read about #21 killing this mom of 19 kids one way or another and she will wish she had chilled the hell out with the baby making and be thankful for the vibrant, healthy children she was already blessed with. Jim bob should be ashamed of himself. Pull out…. seriously.

Tell it! These last two pregnancies was definitely GOD’s way of trying to tell this woman something. She’s got three grand kids and, still not satisfied. They’ ex even gone to see a high risk OB, to see if she can still conceive. Anna, the daughter-in-law is having babies too fast and, too close together. Her uterus can’t get back to it’s normal size, before she is pregnant again.

While it’s true that what they do is their business, but wanting all of those kids is redic.

Chris Stearns have you been told you have no right to procreate? Have you been placed in jail for procreation? Is there a law that says you have no right to listen to your heart and God and place a child on this world. The last time i looked I saw no such laws in the United States of America. Are you a member of the Duggar immediate family? Have you discussed your concerns of an added child to their household with the Duggars. I would think not and therefore say it is in no way your right or responsibility to tell them they should not have more children. That decision is decided by God and Mr and Mrs Duggar. Please don’t say a miscarriage is a message from God to stop trying to have children. It is my understanding that the Duggars do not use contraception because a the bible is against it and b contraception caused them to miscarry a child years ago. Believe it or not they really do believe in God and in the plan he has for them. You are just being nasty to them. Please don’t do that.

I have a deep and profound belief as well as faith in GOD. For we walk by faith and not by sight. There is also a time and a place for everything as well as the change of seasons. This woman is 48yrs old and, her life’s season is in the Fall and, there is a reason that a woman stop producing eggs and her time has come.

I had one baby and we both almost died but GOD allowed us both to remain here and, for that I’m thankful. I was 18 at the time so, imagine trying to have a kid at 48. I’m Blessed and so is my child. I’m also thankful for the gift that I do have sent, from up above.

For the comment below, the human race has evolved and adapted to not popping out ten to twelve babies. And a women shouldn’t have to have that many children just to prevent herself from getting cancer. Anyway, as sad as it is, it does not surprise me that she miscarried. You’re aren’t likely to have a healthy pregnancy at the age of forty seven. That is absolutely unhealthy. If she doesn’t believe in birth control or contraception, then I would strongly suggest that she hold off on the sex to prevent pregnancy. It is not likely she will have a healthy pregnancy at her age. And it would almost seem selfish to bring a child into the world after already having 19, knowing the dangerous and high statistics of birth defects, and possible death of the baby.

The female body isn’t built to have multiple babies?
Are you people serious? Then WHY do we need birth control to prevent them from being born?
The female body evolved to produce children, that is our biological function.
NATURALLY most women would have Ten to twelve children. Our bodies are not designed for birth control. That’s why women who take it have higher risk for stroke and even cancer.

Also, recent studies have shown that having more children lowers a woman’s risk for cancer.

Amen! Birth control totally messed my hormones up completely. It took 2 years for my body to get straightened out (it made my progesterone level too low, so I didn’t have a long enough luteal phase once I ovulated to sustain a pregnancy if an egg were fertilized, and had to take several months of bioidentical progesterone cream to get my hormone levels balanced back out) and for me to get pregnant once my husband and I decided we were ready. This was after having a healthy pregnancy 9 years earlier when I was 21 and got pregnant with her the first time I tried. Birth control pills are a pharmaceutical drug that can cause many dangerous side effects. To tell someone they should take them simply because THEY believe a person has too many kids is just plain ludicrous. If a woman is done having children or has a medical condition that makes having children a dangerous situation, there are much better options such as tubal ligation or having her partner get a vasectomy. But even those procedures run serious risks. If a man and woman are happily married and not cheating on each other and want to have a million children, why is that such a threat to anyone else?

technically any pregnancy loss 20 weeks or later is considered a stillborn not a miscarriage get the terminology correct back in the day it was very common for families to be big like the Duggars but since the advent of oral contraception which is also causes abortions if taken while in the early stages of pregnancy as happen to Michelle D. in between Joshua and Jana & John-David which is why she stopped using it. you do realize that Celine Dion is the youngest of 14 don’t you granted some places didn’t have access to b/c right away for example it wasn’t available in the state of Connecticut until 1972. quit picking on her it’s people like you that make women who have miscarriages and stillbirths keep quiet

Look at them smiling .I would be embarrased to take a picture knowing my mom was an idiot having kid after kid, like we aren’t overpopulated as it is.This was a message that after 19 kids enough is enought he body is not meant to keep popping out children like a machine.I feel sorry for those kids even though they haven’t said much if they could say that their parent’s never had time for each of them as she kept pooping kids out and how could she make time for each of them?.Michelle is selfish.

Michelle has home schooled each child (spending much more time than the average mom with each child) and she does find time for them. She has made sure they each play 2 musical instruments, taught them all to cook. She’s made sure each learns a trade. They are all happy, productive, serving others, and living their lives to do good in this world. We are blessed to have them. Since Michelle takes somuch time with each child, she thankfully has no time to read your comments

With the problems they had with Josie, #19, one would think she would stop trying to have anymore. That’s a sign that her body is tired, worn out, and needs to be left “unpregnant” now. Raise the ones you still have at home, don’t be so consumed with anymore.

TRAGEDY?? Please. You bring that on yourself when you have 20 kids. The female organs are NOT built for having that many kids…enough is enough with the populating. This family pays about $300 a month total for their family health insurance plan…and we wonder why our health insurance costs are so high??
