The star looks stunning on the April cover of ‘Seventeen,’ and inside she has a lot to say about life after ‘Glee.’
Lea Michele has tackled TV and Broadway, and now the gorgeous actress is bringing her talents to the April cover of Seventeen magazine. Talking about the possibility of a Glee spin-off, being comfortable and confident with her body, and on finding, (and losing), her true love, the 27-year-old is an open book.
Lea Michele — ‘Glee’ Spinoff?
Lea made a name for herself in 2009 when she landed the starring role as Rachel Berry on Glee. Now the breakout star is addressing the rumors of a possible spin-off and admits that she would be open to it! “Let’s do it. I think it could be Rachel living in New York and working on Broadway,” she tells the mag. We hope this spin-off happens.
Lea Michele’s Body Image:
Despite being in the spotlight and dealing with constant exposure, Lea is confident and comfortable in her own skin. “I’m very comfortable with my own body. I come from Broadway — everybody’s naked on Broadway. I like to think of myself as more granola. I’m not going to run around naked or anything like that unless I’m at my own home. Today, I walked into my backyard and was standing out there naked for a while. Don’t tell: My neighbors will freak out!”
Lea Michele On Cory Monteith:
Lea has become such an inspiration this year after the tragic loss of co-star and boyfriend, Cory Monteith, on July 13. “I only have happy memories of Cory. He was not his addiction — unfortunately, it won. But that wasn’t who he was. Cory made me feel like a queen every day. From the minute he said ‘I’m your boyfriend,’ I loved every day, and I thank him for being the best boyfriend and making me feel so beautiful,” she shares.
Lea has been so strong this year, and we are so happy that she is able to talk about her loss. We hope that she finds the everlasting love that she craves, because she deserves it. Not only is Lea a fabulous actress and singer, but she has been a pillar of strength since Cory passed away in July, and we could not respect her more!
Check out more of what Lea has to say when the mag hits the stands on Mar. 11! What do YOU think? Do you want a Glee spin-off to happen?
