Andi’s not the only one who thinks it’s not okay. During ‘The Bachelor: Women Tell All’ special, all the women were given the opportunity to complain about Juan Pablo — and they took it!
The Bachelor: Women Tell All special was pretty much everything that we were expecting — a ton of not-so-happy women telling Juan Pablo what he did wrong. Oh and Andi Dorfman, the next Bachelorette, revealing the truth behind her shocking overnight date that pushed her over the edge.
Juan Pablo Bashed By . . . Pretty Much Everyone
Dog lover Kelly actually nailed it when saying that Juan Pablo used his daughter Camila as an excuse throughout the season — and that he sure as heck wasn’t talking about Camila when he was in the ocean — ie., when he hooked up with Clare in Vietnam.
Of course that was one of the big topics of the night —Sharleen said that it seemed like JP he had a case of “buyer’s remorse” after the hook up! Ouch! Of course, the women all agreed he didn’t handle it well — but he wasn’t out on the stage yet, so we knew he was about to get the wrath.
Renee Reveals She’s Moved On Happily
Chris had to spend a few minutes chatting with Sharleen, who sent herself home, and Renee, whose elimination was the most heartbreaking of the season.
First things first — while watching the montage of her time with JP, Sharleen clearly got just as uncomfortable as we did watching her go in for that first kiss. (Now you know how we felt, girl.)
The simple answer was that Renee left because he “wasn’t the one” for her. However, when they dug deeper into that missing “cerebral connection,” she admitted that it was because she thought too much. She shocked us a little (and probably the other girls) when she said when it came to the little conversation they did have, he actually did seem very interested in the traveling she did and the lifestyle she lived.
As for the fan favorite Renee, she admitted that her only regret was not telling him that she loved him earlier — but she knew that it wouldn’t have changed anything. It makes sense, since she’s engaged now! “I’m in a situation now that I’m very happy,” she told Chris. But on the same night the show aired (it was filmed Feb. 21), People announced that she was engaged! While I’m bummed she won’t be the next Bachelorette, I’m so happy she found a good guy — she looked so happy!
Andi Says Juan Pablo Made Her ‘Feel Cheap’
Of course Andi’s time was what I was waiting for — she called him out on the fact that he thought he was a great Bachelor!
“I was just shocked. I was appalled by it,” she said about him talking about Clare. She admitted she should have told him she was offended by the comment, but instead she just closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep since she couldn’t wait for the night to be over. “A girl’s got to do what she’s got to do.”
Much to our surprise, she did find it important to make the point that at no time was he rude or mean to her — but he just didn’t get it.
“The things that he said made me feel cheap,” she added.
…Then Andi Defends Him
If you’ve ever seen a slab of meat get thrown in the middle of hyaenas, you pretty much saw what we did tonight when Juan Pablo walked out.
Everyone from Free Spirit to drunken Victoria called him out and you’ll never believe who defended him. When some of the girls call him out on using the word “fair” and favoring the single mothers, Andi stands up for Juan Pablo, saying he was fair and that when he knew Cassandra and him weren’t working out, he sent her home to be with her kids.
“SI have parts that I’m gonna defend him for. There’s parts that I think he was a jerk and I have no problem saying that to him. He knows that, but I’m honest about it. I’m honest and there are things that I still don’t like about him,” Andi said (and of course he answered with “it’s okay”).
Sharleen Defends Him, Too
The other woman that stands up for him is the other one who sent herself home.
Kelly called out Juan Pablo for those controversial gay comments he made, saying they really offended her since she came from gay parents. He tried to tell her he would speak with her after the show when he had an hour to talk since there wasn’t enough time, but she kept cutting him off. He also said it was taken out of context, which cued Victoria (you know, the one who went home because she was wasted) to jump in and say that as a woman who hasn’t always lived in the U.S., she was offended he kept using the “language barrier” as an excuse.
Cue Sharleen, Juan Pablo’s favorite. She jumped in explaining that they spoke about equality on their dates and that she has no problem with gays.
Does anyone else find it odd that Sharleen is the only one who had real conversations with JP?
What did you think of the Women Tell All special, HollywoodLifers? Were the girls too harsh to JP? Did he deserve it? Let me know!
