There are almost always firsts at the Oscars, but making the Mar. 2 ceremony a pizza night was totally unexpected! So how will Ellen honor last night’s pizza delivery guy hero?
On Sunday, Mar. 2, hilarious history was made when host Ellen DeGeneres had pizza delivered to the 86th Annual Academy Awards, and handed out hot, cheesy slices to the likes of Brad Pitt, Jared Leto, Meryl Streep and mama-to-be Kerry Washington. And in classic Ellen style, she is now going to do something special for the delivery man who made it all possible, a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Ellen DeGeneres Will Honor Oscars Pizza Guy
When three large pizzas from Hollywood’s Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria hit the Dolby Theater stage, many viewers, including myself, couldn’t believe their eyes! They eat pizza, just like us!
Leave it to Ellen to bring out this type of fun in a sometimes stuffy and very old-school awards ceremony. But we can’t forget the pizza guy who made it all possible — the guy who dodged street corners and went through lord knows how much security to get those actors fed!
And Ellen is not going to forget him! In fact, HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that she plans to have him on her show within the next week! She will give him a hero’s welcome as well as his now famous tip collected in Pharrell‘s now infamous hat, according to our source.
Wow, can’t wait to see this!
Ellen DeGeneres Gets Most Retweets Ever
Decked out divas devouring pizza wasn’t the only bit of history Ellen made last night. Her star-studded selfie featuring many of those pizza-eaters received the most retweets ever, and so far it’s clocked in at an astounding 2.7 million!
All I can say is, Ellen, you rocked it!
Do you agree Hollywood Lifers? Was Ellen amazing as Oscars host 2014? Are you glad the pizza guy is gonna get his tip?
