I didn’t understand why Cate recognized Julia when it should have been Meryl with the hastag. Meryl was nominated along with Cate. I guess Jennifer was a little disappointed for not winning another Oscar; therefore, she caused a little drama by falling. I didn’t like Jennifer’s hair. Her forehead is too high to wear it slicked back, should have had some kind of bangs.

I really love how you cut out the entire piece of her speech dedicated to deconstructing the BS idea that movies with female leads don’t sell.

“To the those of us in the industry still foolishly clinging to the notion that female films with women at the center are niche experiences. They are not. Audiences want to see them and, in fact, they earn money. The world is round people.”

Why did she address julia Roberts? Roberts was not in her category. She said it right after praising Sandra’s performance. Sort of like she was implying Roberts was jealous.

The Oscar’s;, what a joke! The fact that Tom Hanks and movie “Captain Phillip’s” were snubbed, is proof positive that something is amiss with their judgement. Personally I wanted Sandra Bullock and Gravity to win. The movie was amazing and her performance astounding. Which is why I refuse to watch the boring show but always look forward to what the results are. Oh well, as usual, i am left dumb founded and disgusted!
