After spending 12 years on the ice, Sean Avery is heading to the dance floor, HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively!
Sean Avery On ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Sean, 33, is a retired professional hockey player for the Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers. The Canadian-born athlete retired in March 2012, and hopefully he’s been practicing dance moves! A source close to him told us that Sean will be on season 18.
Sean has been working with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson to get in shape, a source told New York Post. They added that a video had surfaced of Sean practicing dancing to Katy Perry‘s “Dark Horse” but it was later deleted.
Sean won’t be the only athlete competing on season 18 — Tim Tebow and Ray Lewis have also been asked, HollywoodLife.com has learned.
Tim, who was the quarterback for the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos, does have a good amount of free time, so it’d be surprising if he passed. Ray is a famous Baltimore Ravens alum who we’d also love to take the dance floor. Also on the list is ESPN analyst Stuart Scott, who could talk us through it all!
Others who were asked to join this season include Bruce Jenner, Sharon Osbourne, Juan Pablo Galavis, Cody Simpson, Kelly Brook, and Carla Hall.
What do you think about Sean joining the show, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
