Philip Seymour Hoffman’s autopsy report was recently released and showed that the deceased actor passed away as the result of a massive drug overdose.
Philip Seymour Hoffman, 46, passed away from a massive overdose according to his autopsy report which was released on Feb. 28. The report showed that he had a horrible mixture of several kinds of toxic drugs in his system.

Philip died of acute mixed drug intoxication, including heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines and amphetamine, according to the New York City chief medical examiner’s office, reports Variety.
The death was ruled accidental according to the report which corresponds with what police stated when Philip was initially found dead on Feb. 2.
The actor was found with a needle in his arm, and tests found heroin in samples from at least 50 packets in his Manhattan apartment.
The Capote star said in interviews last year that he had sought treatment for a heroin problem after 23 years of sobriety.

Philip leaves behind three kids. The actor’s last wish was for his oldest son, Cooper to be kept away from Hollywood. He stated that he wants his son to grow up in New York where there is “culture,” reports the Los Angeles Times.
“It is my strong desire — that my son, Cooper Hoffman, be raised and reside in or near the borough of Manhattan in the state of New York, or Chicago, Illinois, or San Francisco, California,” Hoffman wrote in documents obtained by TMZ.
