Lea Michele continues to open up about the loss of her boyfriend, Cory Monteith. In a new interview she reveals that the ‘Glee’ couple were planning on starting a family together.
Lea Michele & Cory Monteith Wanted A Family
It has been seven months since the tragic and untimely death of Cory Monteith, and now Lea Michele is slowly opening up more and more about losing the love of her life. In a new interview inside her cover issue of Glamour UK, Lea shares that she and Cory were ‘it’ and had talked about their future together — including having children.
“We talked about a lot of things,” Lea shares in the interview. “We talked about children and what we would look like when we grew old and who would be fat and how we would stay thin. We talked about where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do.”
“We were done. We were it. When you’re at that place in your life with someone, you talk about everything,” Lea explained.
Lea Says Life After Cory Is A ‘Blank Canvas’
Nearly a year after Cory’s death, Lea strength has given her a positive outlook on life. In fact, she says that although starting over may seem sad, she is ready to turn it into something beautiful.
“Now I feel a little bit more back together and I have this blank canvas in front of me, which is what my life can be,” the Glee actress shared. “There’s something sad about that but also something good, because I will take that blank canvas and make something beautiful out of it.”
Lea also recently released “If You Say So,” an emotionally trying ballad about the last word’s Cory ever said to her.
