Jim Lange ‘Dating Game’ Host Dead
Jim, a hilarious and charismatic host, would generally have a man or a woman, ask questions to the opposite sex, in order to land a date. It was so much fun to watch and some of the biggest names in Hollywood would appear on the show.
But before he played matchmakers, the Minnesota native, first got his start in radio. He was a deejay for years before his big break and he even returned to radio as a disc jockey in San Francisco, until 2005.
“As much as he’s known for his television work, his real love was radio,” his wife told the AP. “He loved doing local radio, especially before it was computerized.”
Harold Ramis Dies — ‘Ghostbusters’ Legend Dead At 69
Jim is not the only Hollywood legend to pass away recently. Harold Ramis starred in some of the biggest hits and hilarious classic comedies like: National Lampoon’s Animal House, Stripes, and of course Ghostbusters. Unfortunately, the actor/director/writer, began suffering from a rare autoimmune inflammatory disease called vasculitis in 2010, and unfortunately it relapsed, cutting his life too short.
It’s a shame that all of these great Hollywood greats are passing away but luckily their legacy lives on onscreen.
