A day after Chris returned to rehab for some extra treatment, the R&B singer left the facility for good, and a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that he’s rejuvenated and determined to live positively and most importantly, cultivate positive relationships with the women in his life.
Chris Brown is officially ready to get back to the real world. After voluntarily returning to his rehab center on Feb. 21, the singer got some final treatment the next day before checking out for good.
Chris Brown Leaves Rehab A New Man
“He’s back home now and he feels good about it,” a source close to Chris tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. After Chris left rehab, he headed to a music video shoot, where he broke out some impressive moves for his new single, “Loyal.” His closest friends then welcomed him back home with open arms — and an intimate homecoming party.
The source explains:
We had a low-key celebration for him. It was real quiet. A lot of hugs. A lot of thank yous. No big speeches although he said, “Thank y’all for being there for me. Really appreciate all that. Love.” We weren’t trying to turn it into a crying session, we just all wanted to be around him and uplift him and show him how proud of him we are.
Now the next step for Chris is to take what he was taught in anger management rehab and apply it to the real world. “He’s trying to take what he learned with him about his anger and relationships with women and his mother and use those skills to make his relationships better,” the source insists.
Chris Brown Carefully Re-Entering Society
Just 24 hours before Chris left rehab, he checked himself back into the treatment facility, even though he had served his court-sentenced 90 days. “He doesn’t want any issues with his temper to flare up when he’s in public so he’s taking some more time to work on some anger treatments so that he keeps his buttons under control,” another source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively on Feb. 22.
That move alone to voluntarily stay in rehab showed a huge amount of growth in Chris. And now that he’s exiting rehab with a newfound life philosophy and outlook, we may be witnessing a brand new version of the singer.
It will definitely be a struggle to readjust to the real life and the limelight, but it really sounds as though Chris has his life under control for the first time in a long time. What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
