From the stage at the BRIT Awards to the runways in Milan, both stars have had quite the week — and they looked amazing as they modeled in Jeremy Scott’s first Moschino show!
Jeremy Scott, the new Creative Director for Moschino, debuted his Fall/Winter 2014 collection for the brand during Milan Fashion Week on Feb. 20 — and he enlisted his famous pals to walk in his show!
Katy Perry — Moschino Runway Model With Rita Ora During Milan Fashion Week:
Known for his outrageous designs, Jeremy Scott, 38, has proven that he is the perfect fit for the Moschino Fashion House. The American-born designer, who started working with the brand in October 2013, made his signature mark as Creative Director with his creations for the Fall/Winter 2014 collection for Milan Fashion Week.
The newly-appointed Scott asked his friends, Katy Perry and Rita Ora, to rock his garments on the runway. Both stars, (who happen to wear Scott’s pieces from his personal label on the regular), looked incredibly chic in their head-to-toe Moschino looks. While many of the runway models donned the very literal pop-art designs, Scott had his celeb gal-pals don more conservative looks. Katy stepped out in a sleek, black and gold get-up, complete with Moschino’s signature gold chains and block letters across the chest. Rita, on the other hand, flaunted a comfy shirt-dress with an ADORABLE quilted “jacket bag.”
Jeremy Scott’s Debut Moschino Collection:
While remaining true to the Moschino brand, Scott sent looks true to the fashion house down the runway — but there were also an array of outrageous looks that we’ve all come to know and love from the designer. From Spongebob Squarepants to Budweiser, Scott debuted a playful collection and incorporated a witty twist on the biggest brands in the world!
Mixing fast fashion and fast food, Scott reminds us not to take fashion so seriously — and we love that he had his famous friends rock the runway!
