‘Doctor Who’ Star Matt Smith Sends Video Message To Terminally Ill 4-Year-Old
Wouldn’t it be your dream come true if one of your favorite television stars sent you a video message? Well, for Jack Robinson, that dream just became a reality. The terminally ill 4-year-old got a sweet video message from Matt, who plays the Doctor on the acclaimed BBC show, Doctor Who.
In the video, the 31-year-old star acknowledges Jack as a Doctor Who fan saying, “I just wanted to say hello because I hear you are the biggest Doctor Who fan and I like Doctor Who Fans.” The actor, who was in Texas at the time, promised to pay Jack a visit once he was back in London. So sweet!
Four-Year-Old ‘Doctor Who’ Fan Jack Robinson Is Terminally Ill
Jack was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and since then, his family has been trying to make his dreams come true. When singer Gary Barlow heard about their challenge, he decided to play fairy godfather and arranged for the Doctor Who actor to make the video message.
“Jack had gone to sleep, but we woke him up to show him the message,” Jack’s father, Terry Robinson stated. “His eyes just lit up and he was so delighted,” he continued, “It made his day and he was over the moon.” He even confessed that the video message was a surprise to the whole family as well. “Gary Barlow tweeted he had a message from Matt Smith, but we didn’t expect this – thank you Gary.”
