No surprise here! Whether you’re a Ravens fan or not, seeing the video of Ray Rice dragging his fiancée out of an elevator is still ridiculously shocking.
On Feb. 15, Baltimore Ravens’ running back Ray Rice was filmed dragging his unconscious fiancee, Janay Palmer out of an elevator at a casino in Atlantic City. Reportedly, the couple got in a spat ahead of time, and were both charged with attacking each other. Regardless, fans are really disturbed by the video — and understandably so! If you missed the video, you can click here to watch it on TMZ, but just so you know, it is absolutely disturbing. After the video, which was filmed from security cameras at the Revel Casino, Janay and Ray were both arrested for laying their hands on each other in a violent matter.
“We’ll assure the public that when this matter is fully tried and completed, you’ll have a better understanding of what happened,” Ray’s lawyer Michael Diamondstein said in a statement. “We ask the public to reserve making any judgment until all of the facts come out. The video that’s being posted by TMZ Sports is not the complete event, but is merely the end result of what transpired.”
