The Oscar-winner caught up with HollywoodLife.com at the NYC premiere of his flick ‘Monuments Men’ and he revealed whether he prefers being in space, romancing the ladies or war heroes onscreen.
George Clooney is one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors but this guy doesn’t want to stick to rom-coms.
George Clooney Reveals His Favorite Role To Play
HollywoodLife.com spoke with the actor who told us that he loves playing a soldier, like this character in Monuments Men.
“It was fun, I’ve done it dozens of times in films I think, so it was fun,” he told us. “The fun part about this is that these guys were far from being soldiers for a long period of time until they sort of became one.”
He went on to joke about working alongside Matt Damon, joking that he was drunk on set.
“I didn’t enjoy it and I’ll tell you why,” he said. “Matt is usually drunk, so we had someone on the set all the time to make sure he stayed sober. He is the best. I have done six films with him so he’s the best.”

Matt Damon Helps Countries Get Clean Water
Matt held a dramatic press conference where he said he was going on a “toilet strike.” This latest PSA comes after stars like Jessica Biel, Jason Bateman and Josh Gad’s March 13 declaration to show their support for the Toilet Strike. They are hoping to provide safe water and sanitation to the 2.5 billion people who do without.
“I want to support creative organizations that truly impact the lives of those in need, particularly those living in extreme poverty,” says Wilde. “Water.org makes a real difference around the world, and in Haiti, a country that I care deeply about. The Toilet Strike is a creative campaign I can get behind, capturing people’s attention and building a social community.”
We think this is so great! George is also always giving back to those in need and we are so glad that they use their starpower for good!
