Yawk yawk yawk yawk! After conquering the entertainment world, Kendrick set his sights on the sporting world on Feb. 15, taking the NBA’s All-Star Weekend by storm with an energetic medley of his songs. Read on to watch the performance!

Wherever and whenever Kendrick Lamar makes an appearance, he’s the center of attention. The latest example? The 26-year-old rapper performed at the NBA’s All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, La. on Feb. 15 and quickly made everyone forget about the 3-point and dunk contests with his fierce, in-your-face performance.

Kendrick Lamar’s All-Star Weekend Performance

Though huge NBA stars like Kevin Durant and James Harden were on hand, all eyes were on K.Dot (who, we’d like to point out, was rocking a pair of Kanye West‘s illusive “Red October” Nikes). The rapper started off his performance with his highest energy song, “m.A.A.d. city.”

The hard-hitting track, accented by a serious light show, had the All-Star Weekend crowd roaring, and Kendrick’s fierce attitude was on display as he spit the song’s bars.

Kendrick then slowed things down with his single, “B**ch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.” The contrast of styles allowed Kendrick to show off his versatility and continue to flaunt his prowess as a rapper.

Kendrick Lamar Rocks The Grammys

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Kendrick take over an event. At the 2014 Grammys on Jan. 26, the rapper took the stage with Imagine Dragons and completely blew everyone away. The band mashed up their massive hit “Radioactive” with “m.A.A.d. city” and created downright magic.

Also, it may have been a duet, but all anyone was really talking about was Kendrick. Though after seeing him rock out once again on Feb. 15, we’re not really surprised.
