The Royal Opera House in London was packed with all the hottest stars from Britain and across the pond on Feb. 16 for the 67th annual BAFTA Awards! See below for tons of pics from the prestigious red carpet!
Some of the biggest stars of the season were out in full force at the 2014 BAFTA Awards at the Royal Opera House in London on Feb. 16! Awards season darling Lupita Nyong’o, in particular, wowed us in a gorgeous emerald green gown from Christian Dior Couture, which she accented with Ana Khouri gold cuffs on her wrists along with a gold belt.
67th Annual BAFTA Awards Red Carpet 2014
Cate Blanchett was as elegant as ever on the BAFTAs red carpet in a short-sleeved black gown from Alexander McQueen detailed with metallic silver flowers, and Uma Thurman kept it classy in a simple, strapless black gown with a slit up to her knee. We also loved Amy Adams‘ somewhat gothic look in a Victoria Beckham gown, which is a total departure from the star’s usual brightly-colored and revealing red carpet choices. Not that she doesn’t look amazing either way!

As one might imagine, we also saw tons of British stars on the red carpet, including X-Files star Gillian Anderson, TV host Poppy Jamie, and Christophe Waltz — looking very dapper, we might add.
Stephen Fry Hosts The BAFTA Awards For The Ninth Time
Presiding over the ceremonies tonight is Stephen Fry, picking up hosting duties for the ninth time! As a hosting veteran and one of the most celebrated personalities in his native London, tonight’s BAFTAs are sure to be a huge success!
Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, received the most nominations — a whopping eleven — including for Best Film and Best Director. We wonder if it will be able to stand up against this season’s heavy hitters, 12 Years A Slave and American Hustle!
So, HollywoodLifers, whose look was your favorite? And which film are you hoping will sweep the awards? Be sure to vote and tell us your thoughts below!
