Bruce touched on some heavy stuff during an emotional motivational speech he gave to students at Mercyhurst University on Feb. 12 — including ‘overcoming fear’ and making commitments. Do you think he was referring to his own fears about becoming a woman?
Bruce Jenner‘s journey toward “finding himself” amid rumors that he wants to have a sex change hasn’t been easy, sources have told HollywoodLife.com. So when we heard that Bruce encouraged students to overcome their fears and “steal every moment of happiness” during his inspiring speech at Mercyhurst University, we couldn’t help but wonder if he was referencing his own personal struggles about deciding whether to live life as a woman.
Bruce Jenner’s College Speech — Is Sex Change The Fear He’s Overcoming?
Bruce no doubt drew from his own life experiences to impart words of wisdom to the crowd at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Penn.
“Bruce’s speech was motivational, entertaining and he spoke about overcoming fear and commitment,” Mercyhurst student Earl Kunsman revealed to Us Weekly.
We know Bruce, 64, has made a commitment to “finding himself,” and he has already taken several steps to become more physically feminine — including undergoing a procedure to have his Adam’s apple shaved down.
Bruce’s family, including daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, has been confused by his transformation, but the reality TV dad finally seems ready to face his fears about embarrassing his loved ones. No wonder he had such good advice for Mercyhurst students!
The former Olympian gave the crowd some inspiring life tips during his motivational speech. “Gamble your best shot in life,” Bruce said. “Cheat those who would hinder your success. Lie in the arms of those you love. Steal every moment of happiness.”
Powerful stuff! We hope Bruce is taking his own advice!
Bruce Jenner Reveals Scary Neck Scar After Adam’s Apple Surgery
After undergoing a procedure to have his Adam’s apple shaved down, Bruce stepped out on Feb. 13 to reveal a very visible one-inch scar on his neck — ouch!
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been buttoning up to keep his neck covered, and now we can see why. The aftermath of the surgery is a little frightening — and looks very permanent. But it’s Bruce’s body, and as long as he’s happy, that’s all that matters.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Bruce overcome his fears and get a sex change if that’s what he really wants? Let us know!
