Kate Spade’s Fall collection was presented on Feb. 7 at Center 548 in NYC. If we can say so ourselves, we are head over heels with this look! MAC Cosmetics was used to create the look by makeup artist Lyne Desnoyes. “A globe trotting woman, chic for every occasion,” she told HollywoodLife.com backstage. To get this look, read below!

Lyne Desnoyes found out how this collection was going to be very versatile with rich colors! She took the time to get know the background of the collection and how the collection is meant for all occasions. The final decision after countless conversations with manicurist Deborah Lippmann was to go with a nude palette. Deborah applied two coats of Naked, a clean bare beige nail lacquer.
Even though they went with nude, Lyne wanted the makeup to be applied as if they were using rich reds and dark blacks. Almost to be as precise as possible with the nude colors. To get lips like the models, you can use MAC’s Half ‘n Half lipstick! When getting this look be sure to apply as if you are using a red and be sure to blend it in well.
On the cheeks, she used a blush called Dandelion and will be available this fall! In order to get the type of highlighted color they were looking for, a peach and pearl cream color base was used. Once applied, this will create a soft and versatile look.
We can’t forget about those eyes! To get the look, curl the eyelashes then use a black, defined mascara to create definition. To finalize the look, use a thin brush to put dots of Black Track Fluid Liner in between the lashes to finalize the look and create intensity. The two key factors for the eyes were definition and intensity.
A High Ponytail, The Chic Way
Tommy Buckett for Garnier showed us how to get the perfect ponytail without looking like your skin is taut! While starting to pull your hair back, look up to the ceiling. By doing this, it will allow all of the hairs to come together without having a bump or sag in the back.
You don’t want your hair pulled back too tight, just enough so it lays nicely against your scalp. If you realize your head is hurting within the next couple of minutes, you should loosen it up a little because you don’t need it to give you a headache all day long.
To finalize the ponytail, use Garnier’s new product Disorder for hold and shine.
Get The Nail!
Deborah Lippmann created this nail look after seeing what Kate Spade had in mind for the looks this year. Going off of Kate Spade’s ‘year of travel’ was the inspiration for this look. Learn how to get the look below!
Apply two coats of deborah lippmann Naked Nail Lacquer. After use deborah lippmann Gel Lab Top Coat to prevent the polish from chipping!
