Woah! On the same night a brand new episode of ‘Teen Mom 2′ aired, Jenelle Evans’ estranged husband got on Twitter and publicly asked her for a divorce. Courtland also said that the day they get divorced will be the ‘happiest’ day of his life. How did Jenelle react to all of this? Find out here!
Even though we already knew there was major trouble in paradise for Jenelle, 21, and her husband Courtland, 27, it’s still surprising to see them constantly taking aim at each other on social media. On the evening of Feb. 11, Courtland sent Jenelle a tweet stating he wanted a divorce. The couple has been legally separated for the better part of the year, and Jenelle is currently living with her new boyfriend, Nathan Griffith.
Courtland To Jenelle — Give Me A Divorce
Courtland made one simple request when he sent Jenelle a tweet on Feb. 11:
I want a divorce @PBandJenelley_1
— Courtland Rogers (@est4life910) February 11, 2014
Deciding to take private things into the public eye, Courtland made sure to include Jenelle’s Twitter tag at the end of his tweet so that ALL of his followers could see it. Jenelle was quick to respond, stating that the wheels have already been set in motion so that they can proceed in April 2014: “That was the plan the day we got arrested. Gotta wait until April buddy.”
When Courtland responded, he made sure not to hold back by stating that the day they can divorce “will be the best day of my life!”
If you don’t know, Jenelle and Courtland got married on a whim after being in engaged for just two weeks on Dec. 4, 2011.
Jenelle Has Already Moved On With Nathan
Could the latest episode of Teen Mom 2 have set Courtland off? The brand new episode was airing at the time he tweeted Jenelle, and it closely chronicled her moving in with her new boyfriend, Nathan. The two even made sure to find somewhere with a second bedroom so that Jenelle’s son Jace could start sleeping over since her mother Barbara Evans has full-time custody of him now.
