Erin Fetherston channeled charm school for her retro Fall 2014 show during New York Fashion Week on Feb. 8. Get the wearable look from expert tips below!
The 1960’s mod look was huge during New York Fashion Week’s Fall 2014 shows. The look is vintage and retro but also timeless and classic. In fact, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have rocked very similar looks in real life! Get the exact breakdown from our backstage adventures below!
Erin Fetherston Runway — Feminine, Nude Nails
Nails were created (and hand painted!) by manicurist MISS POP for KISS Products, Inc.
“I refined the half moon — a nail art trend started by flappers, into a more delicate stroke,” MISS POP told HollywoodLife.com. “Then, I added a hand painted monogramed E using KISS Nail Artist Paint, alternating between white and black.”
The gorgeous E is for “Erin,” of course, and was on the ring fingers.
MISS POP added that she does makeup on her face and but she rarely looks at herself. She looks at her hands all day, every day, so she loves nail art! So true!

The Hot, Brigitte Bardot Inspired Hair
Hairstylist Brian C. Hawkins used Olivia Garden tools and brushes — Divine Wet Detangler DV-1, NanoThermic Thermal and NanoThermic Paddle — to create a volumized pony.
The look was all about texture and volume and was achieved with Salon Grafix products. Color was enhanced by celebrity colorist and Clairol Color Director James Corbett using Natural Instincts.
Shorter hair was left down, with longer hair being teased and pulled into retro ponytails.
The Perfect Cat Eye — Adorable Retro Makeup
Makeup was done by Lottie Stannard using Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. She tells HollywoodLife.com:
“We gave a flush to the cheek. Very feminine but we wanted the eyes to be the focus. It’s a muted, total look all over. I just used tinted moisturizer and powder in the t-zone. For the eyes, I used mascara just on the top lashes. We added a half false lash on the ends for a little extra volume and a kick!”
Will you try these looks as seen on Kylie and Khloe, HollywoodLifers?
