Jenelle Evans — you made the right decision by moving in with your new boyfriend, Nathan Griffith. This is definitely one of the the first few positive steps in building a solid life and future for you and your children!
After last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2 it seemed like everyone had an opinion about 21-year-old Jenelle Evans‘ decision to move in with new boyfriend Nathan Griffith, 25, after going on only one official date — and they are ALL negative. But why is everyone being so harsh? Jenelle has really made strides with her sobriety and it’s about time she takes the necessary steps towards building a life for herself and especially for her first child, Jace Vahn Evans, 4.
‘Teen Mom 2′ Star Jenelle Evans Moves In With New Boyfriend Nathan Griffith After One Date
Jenelle, your troubled past – and terrible relationship choices – have been well documented not only on the Teen Mom series, but in the news as well.
After giving birth to your son Jace at the age of 18, we witnessed your rocky relationship with his father, Andrew Lewis, firsthand. Later, your heroin addiction took center stage while you were dating Keiffer Delp with whom you were arrested for breaking and entering as well as drug possession. We also can’t forget to mention that in 2012 you were engaged to Gary Head, the source of yet another tumultuous relationship, and just a few months later you got caught up in a quickie romance with troublemaker Courtland Rogers who you then married on a whim. It’s no secret that during that relationship you suffered a miscarriage, which was allegedly due to Courtland assasulting you. Thankfully, you were quick to legally separate yourself from him shortly after the incident.
During a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, we witnessed you telling your mom, Barbara Evans, about Nathan after meeting him on a dating app. While Barbara clearly seemed skeptical, you insisted that Nathan was a good guy. Not only was he a “part-time” model, but he had a decent job and was enrolled in school. Of all the bad eggs you’ve been involved with, it’s safe to say that Nathan is definitely the cream of the crop!
While another whirlwind romance probably wasn’t the best decision to make while you were still struggling with your sobriety, maybe Nathan was what you needed to help anchor you down. Nathan has had nothing but your best intentions in sight since the beginning, which he proved true after inviting you to move in with him to help you avoid dealing with your mom’s drama. You were clearly getting frustrated while being pent up in the house with Barbara and Jace all day, and you needed an escape before you made any more poor choices.
Jenelle Evans — It’s Also Great to See You Taking Your Pending Felony Charges Seriously
Jenelle, on top of everything else you’ve had to deal with, this season of Teen Mom 2 is also chronicling your pending felony charges for heroin possession. I have to say, it’s really great to see that you kept in constant contact with your attorney, Dustin Sullivan, and took these charges very seriously.
One of the best things for you that can be presented to a judge on your behalf is your stability. Not only have you moved out of your mom’s house, but you’ve found a support system and a sober companion in Nathan. Your relationship with Jace couldn’t be better, and you and Nathan have your own bundle of joy on the way to expand your beautiful little family.
So please don’t listen to the haters, Jenelle! Continue to take steps in the right direction and focus on the positive. It’s the best thing you can do not just for yourself, but also for your family!
