Chris Brown may soon be returning home to his comfortable surroundings, but the R&B star isn’t too happy about leaving rehab — and the reason why may shock you!
You would think Chris Brown would be jumping for joy since he’s slated to leave rehab this month, but apparently that isn’t the case! HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that Chris isn’t at all excited to leave rehab, because once his anger management treatment is complete, he’s set to begin a court trial in his D.C. assault case!
Chris Brown: Why He’s ‘Not Excited’ To Leave Rehab
Chris, 24, doesn’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. His friends say that he’s not at all thrilled to be leaving his treatment center, especially since the first thing he has to do when he gets out is deal with a court trial in another state.
“He’s still has to go to trail for some bogus stuff he didn’t even do,” a source close to the singer told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He just doesn’t have good luck. It’s like when one door opens for him, another one closes. He’s leaving rehab not to go home, but to look forward to some petty trial. It’s crazy.”
Chris Brown Dodges Jail
Meanwhile, on Feb. 3, Chris found himself in his home away from home — court. Chris got lucky this time around, after prosecutors asked a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to remand the singer.
Prosecutors believe he’s guilty as charged in the D.C. assault case from Oct. 27, and they requested that Chris be placed in police custody. “Brown’s violent behavior continues to increase in severity and frequency,” they said. “[He’s] an increasing danger to society.”
The judge put the kibosh on prosecutors, however, and ordered Chris to return to rehab.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Are you sad for Chris that he has to go to court right after he finishes rehab?
