Cara Delevingne Stars In Amanda Knox Inspired Movie Trailer

The Face of an Angel, which is loosely based on the book Angel Face: Sex, Murder and the Inside Story of Amanda Knox by journalist Barbie Latza Nadeau, stars Rush alum Daniel Bruhl as a struggling filmmaker who is commissioned to write a film about the Tuscany murder of a British student — basically Meredith Kercher — by her “promiscuous” American roommate (basically Amanda Knox).

Amanda Knox Fights Her Verdict

Kate Beckinsale plays an American journalist named Simone Ford who works on the case, while Cara Delevingne will make her big debut as a British student named Melanie who gets romantically “caught up” with Bruhl’s character, Thomas. Dutch actress Genevieve Gaunt, who had a minor role in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, plays the character based on Knox.

What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Will you check out Face of an Angel? Check out the trailer and let us know your thoughts!
